The Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Yifeng Moxibustion Therapy On The Early And Mid-term Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Objective: To observe the different effect on acupuncture combined with Yifengmoxibustion and simple acupuncture on the early and mid-term of Peripheral FacialParalysis, and to find a simple and reliable treatment by acupuncture.Method:60patients were divided into two groups, the acupuncture combined withYifeng moxibustion observation group and the simple acupuncture group,each of whichhave30patients. The observation group use the method of acupuncturing Qianzheng,Cuanzhu(BL2), Yangbai(GB14), Yingxiang(LI20), Jiache(ST6), Dicang(ST4), Sibai(ST2), Taiyang(EX-HN5), Xiaguan(ST7), Quanliao(SI18), Hegu(LI4) combined with Yifeng(SJ17)moxibustion. The simple acupuncture group needle same points. Observe andrecord the differences between two groups about the clinical symptoms and signs、facialnerve function integral evaluation.Result: Both the observation group and the simple acupuncture group in the treatmentof the early and mid-term of Peripheral Facial Paralysis have obtained the good effect. Thetotal effective rate in observation group is93.33%. And the simple acupuncture group witha total effective rate is82.76%. The scores above so that curative effect of the treatmentgroup is better(P<0.05）, while on the clinical symptoms and signs、facial nerve functionintegral evaluation, the observation group is better too. The acupuncture combined with theyifeng moxibustion of the early and mid-term of Peripheral Facial Paralysis is better thansingle acupuncture (P<0.05).Conclusion: The acupuncture combined with the yifeng moxibustion of the early andmid-term of Peripheral Facial Paralysis is better than single acupuncture,and theacupuncture combined with the yifeng moxibustion can improve the the clinical symptoms and signs、facial nerve function integral evaluation.
