Objective:Select electroacupuncture points based on the sEMG results, then comparethe effect of the trial group with the control group,in order to find a better curative method.Methods:60patients are randomly divided into two groups, trial group and controlgroup. They receive regular electroacupuncture therapy from the5thday they gotperipheral facial paralysis. On the15thday, in trial group, the electroacupuncture points areselected based on sEMG results. While Patients in control group continue the formertherapy. After35days, evaluate these two groups with sEMG.Analyze the data withstatistical software, to explore which group’s effect is better. Results:According to statistic analysis, there are differences in RMS ratio ofbuccinator, muscles around lips, frontalis and muscles besides nose of60patients on the15thday, compared with that of the5thday(P<0.05). Both trial group and control group areeffective, based on the RMS ratio comarision of the35thday and the15thday(P<0.05).However, the trial group has a better effect than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with regular electroacupuncture therapy, it’s more effective toselect electroacupuncture points based on sEMG resuls.
