Clinical Observation Of Combined Therapy Of Electroacupuncture And Herbal Fumigation In The Treatment Of Facial Paralysis In Acute Phase

Objective:Based on the previous study of peripheral facial paralysis by electroacupuncture, this study is to evaluate the effect with electroacupuncture combined with Herb steaming around peripheral facial paralysis in the acute phase.Strives to provide meaningful research results for clinical treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, to provide a simple、safe and effective new treatment technology, and rich treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.Method:72cases of peripheral facial paralysis were averagely divided into2groups randomly, experimental group and control group. The experimental group was treated by electroacupuncture combined with Herb steaming。the control group use the pure acupuncture treatment; Acupuncture acupoint:dicang、jiache、sibai、 taiyang、yangbai、xiaguan、hegu.Traditional Chinese medicine prescription is:jingjiel5g fangfengl5g qianghuol2g mahuang9g guizhi9g baizhil2baifuzi9g chuanxiong9g danggui9g honghua6g。Two group of patients treat for ten days.carries on the evaluation before treatment and after10times, uses Facial nerve function rating scale、HouseBrackmann(H-B)facial nerve function appraisal hierarchy system to carry on the curative effect evaluation, Observe the clinical curative effect and prognosis.Results:1.Through medical statistics processing, two groups of patients’ age, gender, how sick had no significant difference (P>0.05) comparable. Comparison within two group. The treatment group compared with before treatment, after treatment10times difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); The control group compared with before treatment, after treatment10times difference was statistically significant (P＜0.01).2.The comparison between the two groups, the treatment after10times, the differences between the two groups have statistical significance (P<0.01). In10times after treatment, the treatment group healed in5cases,9cases had marked effect,5cases effectively, markedly effective rate was70%, total effective rate was95%; Control group recovered0cases,6cases had marked effect,9cases of effective and markedly effective rate was30%, total effective rate was75%. Had remarkable difference in two groups of patients with clinical curative effect, the treatment group curative effect significantly better than the control group.Conclusion:1.electroacupuncture combined with Herb steaming and electroacupuncture can change the clinical symptoms of peripheral facial paralysis patients, but the effect of electroacupuncture combined with Herb steaming therapy is more significant.2.electroacupuncture combined with Herb steaming therapy has the advantages of high recovery rate, safe and economical, easy operation, small side effects, can be used as the peripheral facial paralysis acute stage application is one of effective treatments.
