In this paper, we sampled and detected water from593water supply points in Lin’an, Zhejiang Province, China, to understand the basic situation of drinking water in this area and assess changes in dry and wet periods from2011to2102. The results of this study could pave the way for the development of appropriate measures for testing drinking water in rural areas and provide scientific basis for the gathered data.According to GB5749-2006drinking water health standards, which includes organoleptic, physical, toxicological, and general chemical indices (e.g., Project15), the following results were obtained:1. The pass rate of pH value indices during the wet period was lower than that during the dry period.2. The pollution degree of water during the dry period in2012was lower than those during the wet period in2012and the dry period in2011.3. Toxicological and general chemical indices of drinking water in rural areas in Lin’an City were relatively stable from2011to2012.
