Rural drinking water safety is an important indicator affecting human life. To be adopted by this study to understand the quality of drinking water in rural areas in Jining city to provide reference and basis to related policies and measures. Jining city centers for disease control monitor drinking water in rural areas in Jining city from 2013 to 2014. This paper compares the pass rates of various measures of 2013 and 2014 water samples, and the difference between urban and rural drinking water borh wet period and dry period, In order to understand water quality difference. Results show that the microbial indicators and fluoride are main failure indictors of rural drinking water in Jining city in 2013 and 2014, and the water quality in dry period is better than the wet period. In 2014, the difference between urban and rural drinking water mainly reflected in the microbial indicators and fluoride. The water quality from 2013 to 2014 has no significant difference.
