Clinical Observation On Children Secretory Otitis Media Treated With Therapy Of Xuanfei Tongqiao Method

Objective: Through clinical observation, to validate the curative effect of Xuanfei Tonggiaotherapy in children with secretory otitis media.Methods: Will meet the SOM inclusion criteria of60cases of children (86ears), wererandomly divided into treatment group and control group,30cases each group. The treatmentgroup:30cases (42ears) with Xuanfei Tongqiao method, give the Xuanfei Tongqiao decoctioncombined with oral, nasal nasal drops nasal and nasal, ultrashort wave ultrasonic physicaltherapy.Xuanfei Tongqiao powder was formulated by herbal concentrate-granules that selected from the Affiliated Hospital pharmacy of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specific charge according to children’s age, weight, addition andsubtraction, a day2times, sooner or later, boiling water flushes the clothing. Nasal nasal drops2-3times a day, a1-2drop nose. The nose, ultrashort wave ultrasonic physical therapy once aday. Control group:30cases (44ears) with Sinupret Drops, give Sinupret Drops oral, nasal dropswith nasal drops nasal and ultrashort wave ultrasonic, physical therapy. Sinupret Drops oral,thefirst day to the seventh day,30drops(about2ml)drops once,the eighth day to the fourteenth day,15drops(about1ml)drops once;three times a day. Nasal nasal drops2-3times a day, a1-2drop nose.The nose, ultrashort wave ultrasonic physical therapy once a day.14days are1period of treatment,the two groups were observed after1courses of treatment, the condition changes, clinical efficientcalculation.Results: After14days ‘treatment, two groups of data for statistical analysis, results showedthat there were significant differences in the treatment group,42ears,20ears were cured,18ears were effective,4ears were invalid, the cure rate was47.62%, the total effective rate was90.48%; control group,44ears,13ears were cured,24ears were effective,7ears were invalid,the cure rate was29.55%, the total effective rate was84.09%, the results showed that the curativeeffect of treatment group was better than the control group. The treatment course and curativeeffect were compared, results show that the course of the disease in1to7days with the totaleffective rate was100%, the course of the disease in8~14days with the total effective rate was81.82%, the course of more than14days in the total efficiency of71.43%, showed that the bettercourse shorter curative effect. Conclusion: Two groups of children’s SOM treatment both have a certain effect, from thetreatment group two cases total efficiency can be seen, the efficacy of the treatment group wasbetter than that of the control group, and the shorter the duration effect therefore, treatment ofchildren with SOM with Xuanfei Tongqiao method is worth the clinical promotion.
