A Clinical Observation Of The Varied Sangxing Decoction For Post Infection Cough.(Syndrome Suitable For The Lung-qi Unclean And The Lung Dryness)

Purpose: From the angle of lung dryness，my purpose is to approach the relativitybetween post infection cough and lung dryness, and to observe the clinical effects of theVaried Sangxing Decoction for post infection cough. If I could prove this scheme that postinfection cough can be cured from the angle of lung dryness is workable, I probably give anew idea for the treatment of post infection cough.Method:60patients were selected from the attached hospital of Changchun Universityof Traditional Chinese Medicine during the time from January to Decemeber,2013. They weredivided into treatment group and control group randomly and each group had30cases. I usedthe Varied Sangxing Decoction therapy in the treatment group and the drug of CompoundMethoxyphenamine Capsules therapy in the control group. The course period of treatment inthem is7days. In the end, I compared the scores of syndrome of TCM pretherapy with thepost-treatment and evaluated their clinical efficiency.Result: In the treatment group9cases were clinically controlled,9cases markedlyeffective,7cases are effective,5cases are invalid, the total effective rate was83.33%, in thecontrol group4cases were clinically controlled,3cases markedly effective,15cases areeffective,8cases are invalid, the total effective rate was73.33%, the total effective rate in thetreatment group is better than the one in the control group, the curative effect in the twocomparison of treatment groups is better than the one in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The lung dryness does correlate with post infection cough. From the angleof unclean lung-qi, lack of body fluid and Qi-depression, the treatment was effective andfeasible. The clinical observation was beneficial to the clinical application of post infectioncough with the therapy of TCM.
