Purpose:In order to improve the quality of nursing education and provide a theoretical basis, the investigations and analysis were conducted in understanding the situation of professional of the ability of Self-Directed Learning, Self-concept, Subjective Well-being of udergraduate nuring students in our school of three grade, comparing different basic data on the Self-directed Learning ability, Self-concept, Subjective Well-being of nursing undergraduate and to explore the relationship among the three.Method:This research adopted a method of stratified sampling method. The anonymous investigation was conducted in 450 in-school undergraduate nursing students. The questionnaire included the general situation questionnaire, college students’ Self-directed Learning ability rating scale, Tennessee Self-concept Scale and subjective well-being scale of college students. After reorganizing the collected material, database was established in Excel and SPSS16.0 software was applied to statistical analysis.Result:①The overall situation of Self-directed Learning ability of undergraduate nursing students shows a medium level. Among them, the level of information capacity is the maximum, while that of cooperative learning ability is the minimum. There are some differences in Self-directed Learning ability of students, grade, scores and occupation selection, which are significant in Statistics(p<0.05). ②The overall situation of Self-concept of undergraduate nursing students shows a medium level. In the general information, family atmosphere, family type and the choice of professional occupation have influence on the self concept, which are statistically significant (p<0.05). ③The overall situation of Subjective Well-being of undergraduate nursing students shows a medium level. In the general information, gender, only child or not, grade, the education level of mother, family atmosphere, family type, family monthly income, home address and the choice of professional occupation have influence on the Subjective Well-being, which are significant in Statistics(p<0.05).④ There exist correlations among Self-directed Learning ability, Self-concept and Subjective Well-being of undergraduate nursing students.⑤Subjective Well-being of these nursing students is positively predicted by information ability, Psychological-self, Self-criticism and Self-management ability, Family atmosphere and Mother’s education level.Conclusion:The overall situation of Self-Directed Learning ability and Subjective Well-being of undergraduate nursing students shows a medium level.Self-concept shows a medium level upper. There exist correlations among Self-directed Learning ability, Self-concept and Subjective Well-being of undergraduate nursing students. Subjective Well-being of these nursing students is positively predicted by information ability, Psychological-self, Self-criticism, Self-management ability Family atmosphere and Mother’s education level.
