Objective: The purpose of this experiment was to observe the relationship between the concentration of serum vaspin with coronary heart disease and its severity.Methods:A total of 110 objects were from the inpatients in the cardiovascular department of the first affiliated hospital of university of south China, who were undergone coronary angiography(CAG) during Oct. 2013 to Mar. 2014. Based on the results of CAG, the objects were divided into the CHD group(90 cases) and the control group(20 cases).According to clinical manifestations, the levels of serological indexes and the results of ECG, the CHD group was divided into the AMI group(28 cases),the UAP group(34 cases) and the SAP group(28 cases). According to the number of vascular lesion, the CHD group was further divided into the triple-vessel lesions group(22 cases),the double-vessel lesions group(32 cases) and the single-vessel lesion group(36 cases).The quantitative assess of the severity of coronary artery lesion was made according to the Gensini score standards.The concentration of serum vaspin was assessed by ELISA. Recording WT, HT, BP, diabetes, smoking. Generally biochemical parameters such as the levels of fasting plasma glucose, triglyceride,total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, high sensitive troponin T, creatine kinase and MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase were also detected in the study.Results:(1) The concentrations of serum vaspin in the control group were(2.25±0.18)μg/L, the concentrations of serum vaspin in the CHD group were(1.05±0.19)μg/L. The concentrations of serum vaspin in the CHD group were lower than the concentrations of serum vaspin in the control group(P<0.05);(2)The concentrations of serum vaspin in the SAP group were(1.29±0.07)μg/L, the concentrations of serum vaspin in the UAP group were(1.03±0.04)μg/L and the concentrations of serum vaspin in the AMI group were(0.83±0.08)μg/L. The concentrations of serum vaspin in the SAP group, the UAP group and the AMI group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). The concentrations of serum vaspin in the UAP group and the AMI group were lower than those in the SAP group(P<0.05).The concentrations of serum vaspin in the AMI group were lower than those in the UAP group(P<0.05).(3)The concentrations of serum vaspin in the single-vessel lesion group were(1.11±0.17)μg/L,the concentrations of serum vaspin in the double-vessel lesions group were(1.09±0.16)μg/L and the concentrations of serum vaspin in the triple-vessel lesions group were(0.88±0.16)μg/L. The concentrations of serum vaspin in the single-vessel lesion group, the double-vessel lesions group and the triple-vessel lesions group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05). The concentrations of serum vaspin in the triple-vessel lesions group were lower than those in the single-vessel lesion group and the double-vessel lesions group(P<0.05). The concentrations of serum vaspin in the double-vessel lesions group were lower than those in the single-vessel lesion group(P>0.05). According to the Spearman analysis, the concentrations of serum vaspin had negative correlation with the Gensini score standards(r=-0.871,P<0.05).(4)Correlation analysis showed that the concentrations of serum vaspin were positively correlated with BMI(r=0.263, P=0.037) and were negatively correlated with TG(r=-0.272, P=0.029);However the concentrations of serum vaspin have no correlated with age, FPG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, SBP and DBP(P>0.05).Conclusion:The concentration of serum vaspin has relationship to the severity of CHD, which may become a useful indicator for prediction the severity of CHD.
