Observe The Clinical Therapeutic Effect Of Electro Spoon Needle Canister Cupping Therapy For Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective:Observe the clinical therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with ESNC in treatment of lumbar disc herniation, to provide a reliable and effective method for clinical treatment of LDH.Methods:Using simple randomized method to divide 90 cases of patients with diagnosis of LDH, into 30 cases of acupuncture,30 cases of acupuncture combined with ESNC, and 30 cases of ESNC. For ESNC group, use the following acupoints:Yaoyangguan, Shen shu, local Ashi, every other day applying ESNC and dense wave, apply the cupping for fifteen minutes each time, for two weeks of continuous treatment. For acupuncture group and use the following acupoints:Yaoyangguan, Dachangshu, Xiaochangshu, Pangguangshu, Huantiao, Chengfu, Yinmen, Weizhong, Chengshan, Kunlun, apply acupuncture once a day, each treatment lasts forty minutes, turn needles in the mid-session of treatment, seven times per week, for two weeks of continuous treatment. Acupuncture combined with ESNC group use the combined treatment of both groups. Evaluate three groups of patients with visual analog scale (VAS) and the curative effect of lumbar disc prolapse rating scale (LDHSS) score before, after first week and after the second treatment, and apply the data obtained into SPSS19.0 software for statistical analysis.Results:(1) in terms of pain improvement, the VAS score in all three group were reduced after the treatment of one week and two weeks, and the acupuncture combined with ESNC group compared individually to acupuncture group and ESNC group, has significant difference (P< 0.05); Acupuncture group compared to ESNC group, no significant difference (P> 0.05), which means all the three treatments can improve pain in patients with lumbar disc herniation, but acupuncture combined with ESNC has more therapeutic effect compare to the acupuncture or ESNC using along.(2) in terms of improving syndromes, the LDHSS scores of all the three groups went lower after the treatment of one week and two weeks, and acupuncture combined with ESNC compare to acupuncture and ESNC individually has significant difference (P< 0.05); Acupuncture compared to ESNC has no significant difference (P> 0.05), which means three groups all can improve the TCM syndrome in patients with lumbar disc herniation, and acupuncture combined with ESNC has more therapeutic effect compare to acupuncture and ESNC.(3) in term of clinical efficiency, after two weeks of treatment, acupuncture combined with ESNC has total efficiency of 90.0%,76.7% for acupuncture,70.0% for ESNC. Acupuncture combined with ESNC compare to acupuncture and ESNC individually has significant difference (P< 0.05); Acupuncture compared to ESNC has no significant difference (P> 0.05), indicating acupuncture combined with ESNC has more therapeutic effect compare to the acupuncture and ESNC individually.Conclusions:1. ESNC, acupuncture and acupuncture combined with ESNC all have therapeutic effect in the treatment of LDH, but acupuncture combined with ESNC has more prominent efficacy, can significantly improve patients’pain.2. ESNC, acupuncture and acupuncture combined with ESNC all have therapeutic effect in the treatment of LDH, but acupuncture combined with ESNC is more significant in terms of improvement of TCM syndrome in treatment of LDH.3. ESNC, acupuncture and acupuncture combined with ESNC all has therapeutic effect in the treatment of LDH, but acupuncture combined with ESNC can further improve the patients’quality of life.
