Treatment Of 80 Cases Of Cervical Spondylosis Of Vertebral Artery Type By Jing Xuan Kang Capsule

Purpose: In order to provide scientific basis for the clinical research, we observed the clinical effect of Jingxuankang Capsule on Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery Type(CSA)Method: 80 suffering CSA cases which were randomly selected in the research were diveded into two simple groups: the Experiment Group(Jing Xuan Kang group) and the Control Group(Jing Fu Kang group). Each group was treated by the different drugs. The drug treatment for the 80 cases lasted for four courses of treatment and each course of treament included 15 days. We made each case a follow-up visit after a month when they went home.Then observing the improvement in patients with sympotoms and social life after the treatment.Result: 1. There was significant different between the Experimental Group and the Control Group in the clinical curative effect(P<0.05). The Experimental Group could prevent patients from pain. 2. In the 80 cases, the Experimental Group didn’t perform different effects from the Control Group in curing the dizziness(P>0.05).3. In improving the basic quality of life, the Control Group did less than the Experimental Group(P<0.05). We could suggest that there might be some contracts between the basic quality of life and the pain suffering from the CSA. 4. There was no evidence can be used to estimate the curative effect in some other symptoms and functions because the total cases were not enough. 5. We found in the clinic research, the overall effective rate in the Experimental Group was 90.00% and the Control Group was 80.00%. There was no significant different between them(P>0.05)..Conclusion: The Jing Xuan Kang Capsule can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and function of CSA patients, especially in reducing the pain and improve the basic quality of life.
