Objective: To explore immune recognition of Dectin-1 receptor in the rats with the heat-treated Candida glabrata invasive pulmonary infection, and the expression and significance of IL-10. Methods: All the rats were random divided into three groups containing the control group(group A), the group of rats infected with the live Candida glabrata(group B), and the group of rats infected with the heat-treated Candida glabrata(group C). Set up the model of the rats invasive pulmonary infection. Each group was sacrificed 6 mice respectively at the third and sixth day, observing the pathological changes of lung tissue, using Western blot assay Dectin-1 expression in lung tissue, detecting the IL-10 and TNF-α expression in BALF by ELISA, then comparing them with the control group. Results: In group A, the pathological analysis showed that the normal structure and no inflammatory reaction in lungs; while in group B and group C, the normal structure of the alveolar disappeared, amount of inflammatory cells infiltration is visible in the alveolar space and interstitial. The expression of Dectin-1 in the infected lung tissues and the expression of IL-10 and TNF- α in BALF were all progressive increased in group B and C, and the group C expressed higher than group B. Conclusion:Dectin-1 involved in the immune recognition in the rats with heat-treated Candida glabrata invasive pulmonary fungi infection and IL-10 played a negative regulatory function.
