ObjectiveTo observe the clinical features of infertile women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome(PCOS) and investigate the possible influence factors affecting their access to social support, and to provide basic data of the treatment and prevention of the disease.MethodsUsing cluster sampling method to extract 200 infertility women with PCOS from the reproductive center of the First affiliated hospital of Anhui medical university from January to March 2013. Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with PCOS by the attending doctor of the center using Rotterdam diagnosis standard [1] and excluding women who have one child. Under the guidance of professional investigators Women complete the general data questionnaire, social support scale(SSRS), etc. Using SPSS16.0 statistical analysis process the general frequency description, t test, analysis of variance, chi-square and multiple linear regression analysis, etc.ResultsThe average age of infertility women with PCOS was 26.7±3.2, the maximum age was 36 and the minimum was 20. Their obesity rate reached 19.8% far higher than the general population which was 10.0%. Analyzing SSRS social support scale show that the SSRS total score, objective support and utilization of support score were different in people who with different culture degree, occupation and family income level. In obese or not, the number of abortions, duration of marry and the main diets aspects of SSRS difference was not statistically significant. Multiple factors regression analysis results show that culture degree(b=-4.350,95%CI:-5.834,-2.866,t=-5.779,P< 0.001) associated with the SSRS after introduce the single meaningful variables into the multi-factor regression model. Cultural degree(b=-1.254,95%CI:-1.874,-0.633,t=-3.983,P< 0.001) and family income(b=0.713,95%CI:0.131,1.295,t=2.414,P= 0.017) was associated with objective support score; Cultural degree(b=-1.829,95%CI:-2.859,-0.799,t=-3.500,P= 0.001) was associated with subjective support score; At the same time cultural degree(b=-0.932,95%CI:-1.341,-0.522,t=-4.481,P< 0.001) and family income(b=0.508,95%CI:0.124,0.893,t=2.608,P= 0.010) was associated with the degree of social supports.ConclusionThe obesity rate of infertility women with polycystic ovary syndrome is higher than the general population, and their social support score in different, income, educational level was different. Different social help should be give to different populations.
