The situation of viral hepatitis is not optimistic globally, while in China, chronic viral hepatitis is most serious, particularly the chronic hepatitis B, having a higher incidence. Most of viral hepatitis shows the characteristics of chronic and slow progression which will certainly bring heavy burden to the patients, psychological issues are most likely to be overlooked in clinics. Studies have shown that the psychological state of patients is closely related to progression of chronic liver disease, which directly impacts the effectiveness of clinical treatment and healthcare. Duration of chronic liver disease is lasting, so patients’physiological changes and economic pressures will lead to variation in their mental status, which in turn affects the development of the disease in patients. What’s worse, patients’incomprehensive understanding of their illnesses, will also result in their insufficient compliance with medical treatment, low mood, and other psychological problems, all of which will affect the outcome of the disease. Therefore, the psychological factors play an important role in the patients with chronic liver during progression and prognosis of the disease. Appropriate health education and psychological intervention are effective measures to protect patients from mental disorders. It not only reflects the human nature atmosphere required for the medical environment, but also reflects the humanistic quality of healthcare professionals.So, on account of psychological status quo in patient with chronic liver disease, we need questions:how such a psychological situation will have impact on this huge patients population with chronic liver disease; whether the patients’ psychological needs should be emphasized patients’ psychological needs stressed during the clinical treatment; what measures should be applied to intervene; How to interpret the intervention effects on psychological problems in patients with chronic liver disease and other issues from the perspective of medical ethics. This thesis aims to demonstrate status quo of psychological issues in patients with chronic liver disease, as well as ethical considerations it brought to us.Therefore, it contains the aspects as follows:1. the current psychological status in patients with chronic liver disease in China;2. influence of psychological factors on the patients with chronic liver disease;3. how to intervene psychological problem in patients with chronic liver disease in clinics currently;4. to explore the principles that should be followed by medical ethics during clinical treatment of chronic liver disease;5. in view of above situation and theoretical principles, corresponding measures has been raised in order to guide clinical treatment and healthcare;...
