Objective:Detect integrin β3 expression in gastric cancer and analysis the relationship of integrin β3, MMP-9, clinicalpathological features and the prognosis. Methods: Integrin β3 and MMP-9 in gastric cancer was detected by immunohistochemistry Elivision in 75 cases to verify the expression of integrin β3, MMP-9 and to analyze its relationship with clinical and pathological features and 5-year recurrence. Results:Integrin β3 and MMP-9 expressed in the intracellular and membrane had the positive correlation in gastric carcinoma. The patients with positive integrin β3 expression had the negative relationship with 5-year recurrence-free (P= 0.001), and the MMP-9 also had the negative relationship with 5-year recurrence-free (P= 0.001). Univariate analysis showed that the 5-year recurrence had the positive statistically significant with tumor size, T stage, N stage, M stage and TNM stage, (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis only showed that the 5-year recurrence had the positive statistically significant with N stage, TNM stage. And positive integrin β3 and MMP-9expression also was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions:The integrin β3 and MMP-9 were positive expression in gastric carcinoma. The lymph node metastasis staging, TNM stage, and integrin β3 and MMP-9 positive expression must be closely positive relationship with5-year recurrence-free in patients with gastric carcinoma. |
