Clinical Study Of Herbal Fumigation Combined With Narrow Band Uvb Treatment Of Palmoplantar Pustulosis

Objective:Using traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and narrow-band ultraviolet B to treat palmoplantar pustulosis,.Observed efficacy,the onset time,recurrence rate and adverse reaction.Analysis the advantage of combined therapy to treatment palmoplantar pustulosis and investigate its therapeutic efficacy.Methods:The 91 palmoplantar pustulosis patients was divided into 3 groups according to random number table method.The joint group(use of herbal fumigation and NB-UVB)had 31 cases, The Chinese medicine group(just using herbal fumigation)had 30 cases, The NB-UVB group had 30 cases, The 3 group patients were packeted by Fuzhiqing ointment before go to bed. Treatment for 8 weeks, referral once every two weeks, take a photograph to observation of the patient skin lesions and ask the patient the improvement of itching level.After treatment 2、4、6、8 weeks, compared skin lesions and itching integral degrees of difference with beore treatment. Recording recurrence occurred during the treatment and adverse reactions after treatment 2months.Results:(1) Three groups’ skin lesions score and the subjective of itching degree had no statistical difference between groups(p>0.05)before treatment,after treatment had significantly better than that of before treatment(p<0.05).(2) Three groups after treatment 2、4、6、8 weeks,PPPASI score compared between groups had statistical difference.The joint group better than herbal group(p<0.05), the herbal group better than NB-UVB group(p<0.05).(3)Three groups’ disease curative efficacy had statistical difference(p<0.05) respectively after treatment 2、4、6、8weeks, The joint group>herbal group>NB-UVB group.(4)Three groups’ itching degree had statistical difference(p<0.05) compared between groups after treatment 2、4、6、8weeks, Joint group better than herbal group(p<0.05),herbal group better than NB-UVB group(p<0.05).(5) 2 months after the end of treatment,Three groups’ recurrence rate had no statistical difference,x2=8.311,p=0.016,p<0.05,The joint group<herbal group<NB-UVB group.Conclusion:The traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and narrow-band ultraviolet B to treat palmoplantar pustulosis had curative effect,a low recurrencerate.Therefore,it’s a safe and effective method for the disease treatment of palmoplantar pustulosis.
