Clinical Research On Insomnia Of Liver Depression To Fire Treated By Shu Mu Points

ObjectiveThis study adopted the randomized method,taking the common electro-acupuncture methods as the control group,in order to observe the cl inical curative effect of Shu Mu points therapy to insomnia of liver depression of fire.We try to compare the curative effect of these two kinds of therapy and to find out whether there is any difference and to analyze the may cause of their difference, so as to provide the evidence for clinic treatment of insomnia with Shu Mu points therapy.Methods60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. There were 30 patients in treatment group and the other 30 patients in control group.Patients in both two groups were chose Shen men,Nei guan,Bai hui and An mian as the main points.Beside the main points,the treatment group combined with Shu Mu points of heart and l iver(Xin shu,Ju que,Gan shu,Qi men),while the control group combined with Xing jian,Tai chong and Feng ci points.After each points bringing the desired sensation,we connected the G6805-1,the electroacupuncture therapy,chose the continuous dense wave, and the intensity of stimulation was patients can tolerant.The welding time was 30 minutes,one time each two days.The efficacy of the treatment group and the control group were be compared after 1month of treatment.The observe indexes were the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale(PSQI).We compared the scores of PSQI before and after the treatment,finally used the SPSS software to analyze the statistical data and made conclusions.Results①In the total effect,the treatment group 4 cases were cured,14 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective and 3 cases were inefficacy, the total effective rate was 90.0%, while the control group,2 cases were cured,10 cases were markedly effective,12 cases were effective and 6 cases were inefficacy, and the total efficiency was 80.0%. Compared two groups with the rank sum test, showed there is statistical significance (P<0.05), and indicated that the curative effect of treatment group had better curative effect than that of control group.② There was no difference on gender, age, course of disease and total score of PSQI among the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05).③ After treatment, almost every factor and total score of PSQI of the treatment group were reduced (P<0.05). when the control group only had improvement on the subject of sleep quality、sleep latency、sleep during、 sleep disturbance and total score of PSQI(P<0.05), while in the daytime dysfunction and sleep efficiency, there was no difference after the treatment(P>0.05)④ Shu Mu points therapy group was significantly better than the simply electro acupuncture therapy group on subjective of sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep disturbance and daytime dysfunction of PSQI after treatment (P< 0.05). While in the sleep time, there was no difference between two groups.ConclusionThis study shows that, Shu Mu points therapy and common electro-acupuncture therapy for the patients with insomnia of liver depression to fire both had improvement in their symptoms, but the effect of Shu Mu points therapy was significantly better than that of common acupuncture group.
