The Observation Of Clinical Effect Of Dushen Decoction In The Treatment Of Chronic Heart Failure With Qi Deficiency

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Dushen Decoction in teeating chronic heart failure(CHF) with qi deficiency, and also to provide evidence of the patients with CHF who need tonifying qi by a randomized controlled trial.MethodsThe patients fulfilled the inclusion criteria wered divided into a control group(Western conventional treatment) and the treatment group(conventional Western medicine Treatment+Dushen Decoction), they were patients from Guangdong Provincail hospital of TCM from 2014 to 2015 between inpatient and outpatient department with CHF, the treatment group received Dushen Decoction 100mL one time a day in a month, both groups were recorded NYHA level, LVEF, 6-minute walk test, TCM symptom scores, LiHFe scores, safety outcome measures, such as liver and kidney function, and left ventricular ejection fraction. Using spss17.0 software to establish a database, and then using different statistical methods of analysis to a final conclusion.ResultsThe study actually enrolled 58 patients, with the statistical methods of analysis for the clinical efficacy and safety indicators, here are the results:1. Comparison of the two groups in terms of sex, age, weight, disease duration, blood pressure and basic disease, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).2. Comparison of efficacy of TCM symptoms, the treatment group, the total effective rate was 83.3% in the the treatment group;The total effective rate was 57.1% in the control group;The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).3. Comparison of the efficacy of cardiac function, the total effective rate was 86.7%　in the treatment group;The total effective rate was 60.7%　in the control group; The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)4.6min walking distance comparisons, before and after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); Comparing before and after treatment in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05);Comparing the two groups after the treatment, the difference There was statistically significant (P<0.05).5. The left ventricular ejection fraction comparisons, comparing before and after treatment between their own group and the two groups after treatment, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05)6. Minnesota terms of quality of life scores, comparing before and after treatment in the treatment group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), comparing before and after treatment in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); Comparing between the two groups after the treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).7. Before and after treatment, ALT、AST、Cr, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05)ConelusionIn the treatment while applying Dushen Decoction, with improving symptoms in patients of chronic heart failure with qi deficiency, NYHA level, increasing 6min walking distance, and decreacing LiHFe scores, and does not cause liver and kidney dysfunction, Dushen Decoction does not improve left ventricular ejection fraction of patients of chronic heart failure with qi deficiency.
