The Study On The TCM Constitution Type And TCM Syndrome Type In Patients With Eczema In Guangdong

ObjectiveThrough the investigation of TCM constitution type in patients with eczema in Guangdong Province, we can analyze the characteristics of distribution of TCM constitution types in patients with eczema, and the inner link of TCM constitutions and TCM syndrome types, and provide further theoretical basis for the study of TCM constitution in patients with eczema in South of the Five Ridges area, which provides a new way to further improve the prevention and treatment of eczema clinical effect.MethodsWe use the《Chinese medicine constitution classification and decision self-test tables》from the China Association of Chinese Medicine to investigate the patients treated in the dermatological department of our hospital, according to the survey results, we analyze the TCM constitution type and syndrome type, then set up a database, use SPSS17.0 statistical software to analyze the relationship between constitution types and syndrome types.Results1.The frequency of TCM constitution types from high to low is:qi stag nation type>dampness heat type>phlegm dampness type>qi deficiency type>yi n deficiency type>specific intrinsic type=harmony type> yang deficiency t ype>blood stasis type。2. The frequency of TCM syndrome types from high to low is:spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome>dampness heat skin syndrome>blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome.3. Dampness heat skin syndrome mainly includes dampness heat constitution and phlegm dampness constitution, accounting for 27% and 23%; spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome mainly includes qi stagnation constitution and phlegm dampness constitution,accounting for 22% and 14%;blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome mainly includes qi deficiency constitution, accounting for 66%.4. Dampness heat constitution and phlegm dampness constitution mainly includes dampness heat skin syndrome and spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome;qi stagnation constitution mainly includes spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome,accounting for 65%;yin deficiency constitution mainly includes dampness heat skin syndrome, accounting for 55%;yang deficiency constitution mainly includes spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome, accounted for 89%.5. The distribution of TCM constitution types varied in gender, age groups, eczema staging, syndrome types and the results have statistical significance.ConelusionThe main TCM constitution types of the eczema patients in Guangdong are the qi stagnation constitution, dampness heat constitution, phlegm dampness constitution and qi deficiency constitution. The main syndrome type is spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome. Dampness heat constitution and yin defi ciency constitution have relationship with the dampness heat skin syndrom e, phlegm dampness constitution has relationship with spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome and dampness heat syndrome,qi stagnation constitution and yang deficiency constitution have relationship with spleen deficiency with dampness syndrome,qi deficiency constitution has relationship with blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome. This research provide more data for the physical research in south of the Five Ridges area of eczema, through the study, the arguing syndrome should be combined with arguing constitution, after these, we can improve the curative effect, and reduce the recurrences.
