Research On Situation Analysis And Solutions Of Materials Management For Hospital D

Because of the increasingly competition in health care field, a hospital must strengthen it’s materials management, broaden the sources of income and economize on expenditures, decrease consumption, improve efficiency, in order to enhance overall competitiveness and development. The procurement and warehousing costs take more half of logistics costs in hospitals. And procurement and warehousing are main part of hospital materials management, so, as an important part of current hospital management, taking reasonable measures and means to strengthen materials management is an important method to strengthen the hospital cost management and improve hospital efficiency. The extensive material management methods need to be improved immediately in Hospital D.Starting from the studying of hospital materials management on the current situation, advanced theories and practical experience are summarized. Taking integrated use of site surveys, interviews with key personnel, data collection and analysis methods, materials management in Hospital D is analyzed to fully grasp the regimes, processes, means etc. of materials management. Accordingly, utilizing fish-bone diagram, the issues in procurement, storage, recipients, vendor management, information technology and other aspects, are analyzed. According to the issue, supply chain methods are introduced to find solutions. Promoting the standardization of materials, the foundation of implementation of standardized management, improving management efficiency, and promoting information development. Based on supply chain management, using JIT, Location Management, inventory control and other technologies to optimize materials management in suppliers, purchasing, inventory and distribution management. Analyzing information demands and constructing material management information system provides supply chain management with information technology support. A sound management system is established to maintain favorable development of material management.Through this study, it is put forward targeted measures to improve and enhance the materials management of Hospital D. This may provided reference for management of Hospital D and other similar County Public hospitals.
