Objectice: Detecting the expression of leptin and nuclear factor- kB p65 in cervical pre-cancerous lesions and early cervical cancer. To explore its relationship with the occurrence and development of early cervical cancer and cervical pre-cancerous lesions. Methods: Immunohistochemistry was utilized to detect the protein expression ratio and intensity of leptin and nuclear factor NF- kB p65 in 65 specimens of chronic cervicitis, 29 specimens of CINI, 36 specimens of CINII, 41 specimens of CINIII, 29 specimens of early cervical cancer. Results: 1. In cervicitis, CINI~III and early cervical cancer, the positive expression rates for NF-kB p65 were 87.7%, 93.1%, 94.4%, 100%, 100%. leptin expression rates were 95.4%, 93.1%, 91.7%, 60.9%, 27.6% respectively. 2. The significant differences of NF-kB p65 and leptin expression were observed between cervicitis, CINI~III and early cervical cancer(P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the CINI and CINII(P>0.05). 3. No significant correlation was observed between expression of NF- kB p65 and leptin in cervical lesions. Conclusions: 1.The expression of NF- kB p65、Leptin in cervicitis, CIN, early cervical cancer was different, and there was statistically significant, suggesting that NF- kB p65、Leptin is closely related to the occurrence and development of cervical cancer. 2. No significant correlation was observed between expression of NF- kB p65 and leptin in cervical lesions, suggesting that they may play different roles in the oncogenesis of cervical cancer.
