The Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Chronic Lumbar Musele Strainis By The "Hui" Needling Method At Ashi Points

ObjectiveThis subject ado/ts the Hui needling method intervention on Patients with chronic lumbar muscle strain. The changes were observed before and after the treatment so as to objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety, and be comPared with the conventional dialectical theraPy efficacy. My exPectation is to clear the characteristic and (or) advantage of Hui needling method, and to Provide reference evidence for clinical aPPlication and PoPularization of this method.MethodsThis research mainly observes clinical curative effect. Subjects are clinic Patients from dePartment of acuPuncture and massage of the First Affiliated HosPital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and School volunteers. By using a random number table of random grouPing method, Generate random number table of 60 subjects divided into two grouPs.PrePare random cards, and Place them into sequentially numbered oPaque enveloPes. Numbers on the enveloPe are the same as ones on the cards in them.OPen enveloPes in accordance of the order of Patients, then grouPing and treat the Patients strictly according to the cards. This to Pic were randomly divided into treatment grouP (30 cases) and control grouP (30 cases) by the ratio of 1:1. Both grou Ps were treated with conventional acuPuncture Plus living acuPobints (Shen shu、Dachang shu、Yaoyangguan、Jizhong、Ashixue). In the treatment grouP, I Probed living acuPbints with Hui needling method and other acuPbints with conventional method. While in the control grouP, all the acuPbints are Probed in a conventional way. All the subjects were treated once a day, and after 5 days’treatment, there’s a 2 days’rest, which means 7 days a course. And the whole treatment consists of two courses. After comPletion of study treatment, summary of research data, the establishment of a database, using SPSS19.0 statistical analysis. ComPare the changes in every asPect of the index of curative effect between two treatment grouPs and between grouPs of subjects (including Pain degree, clinical signs and Oswestry disability index), and analysis the curative effect of Hui needling method for treatment of chronic lumbar muscle strain.Results(1)This research has 60 subjects and were randomly divided into two grouPs. Baseline information of each grou P:gender, age, course of disease, degree of Pain before treatment, clinical signs integral and Oswestry disability index score between the two grouPs had no significant difference, (P>0.05), PromPting a comParability between the two grouPs.(2) ComParison of the efficacy of the two groups after treatment:the total effective rate of the treatment grouP is 96.67%, while the control grouP is 93.33%. The overall effect of the two grouPs was statistically significant (P<0.05). Two grouPs of treatment methods both have clinical curative effect, while the treatment grouP is better, which means the comPrehensive effect of Hui needling method for treatment of chronic lumbar muscle strain is more obvious.(3) For imProvements of Pain severity score, comPared the two grouPs before and after treatment (P<0.05), there’s a statistical significance; comParison of theraPeutic effect of the two grouPs after treatment is statistically significant (P<0.05). This PromPts that both the Hui needling method and the conventional acuPuncture method can significantly imProve waist Pain degree, and the curative effect of treatment gronP is better.(4) For imProvements of clinical signs, there are significant differences between the scores before and after treatment of both grouPs (P<0.05), while the imProvement of treatment grouP is more obvious, with significant difference (P<0.05). This PromPts that both the Hui needling method and the conventional acuPuncture method can significantly imProve clinical signs, and the curative effect of treatment grouP is better.(5) For the imProvements of Oswestrey dysfunction, there are significant differences between the scores before and after treatment of both grouPs, with significant difference (P<0.05); but there isn’t an obvious difference between the two grouPs after treatments, with no significant difference (P >0.05). This PromPts that both the Hui needling method and the conventional acuPUncture method can significantly imProve Oswestrey dysfunction, but we can see no obvious difference between the two grouPs.Conclusion(1) Both methods can imProve the degree of Pain, clinical signs and functional activities of waist. Both methods Play certain clinical curative effects.(2) the Hui needling method for treatment of chronic lumbar muscle strain were suPerior in the imProvement of the degree of Pain, clinical signs comPared with routine acuPuncture; and in imProving functional activities of waist, the two methods have same efficacy.(3) The overall clinical effect of treatment grouP is better than the control grouP, and the Hui needling method is simPler to oPerate, so the Hui needling method is worth to be widely use in clinic.
