ObjectiveThis study focus on using epidemiological survey method to investigate the breast cancer patient’s heath behavior and heath behavior change model. Then, we analysis the patients’ health behavior change for the sake of exploring the possible factors affecting breast cancer health behavior change. And then, help to provide preliminary data about making the scientific and reasonable intervention program for the change of breast cancer patients’ health behavior. Also hope that the questionnaire can be admitted, and provide reference for the next clinical research.MethodsUsing prospective convenience sample surveys, combined with qualify and quantity method, we investigate the breast cancer patients by using the questionnaires.308 patients had been collected. Then, we establish a database about breast cancer patients’heath behavior.Using chi-square test, t-test, rank-sum test and non-conditional Logistic regression analysis methods, want to knowe the situation of health behavior and health behavior change and patient’ willing, and explore the possible factors affecting breast cancer patients’health behavior change. And also, using reliability analysis and factor analysis assess the reliability and validity of the questionnaire of breast cancer patients’health behavior.Results1. Breast cancer patients’health behavior researchBreast cancer patients think highly of their health, and know more about breast cancer after diagnosed with it. Over 96% patients paln to learn the knowledge about breast cancer. Majority of patients have highly health conscious, who can follow doctors’ advice, take medication as doctors told and have physical examination regularly. In the 308 breast cancer patients, health behavior changers are 296 cases (96.1%); some bad habits which are uncorrected yet will be removed. The result of the analysis that the breast cancer health behavior change shows:In actual age, cumulative feeding time, degree of understand about knowlege related to breast cancer after diagnosed with breast cancer, whether knowing no/less breastfeeding、preference of smoked/picked products、health care or skin care products containing estrogen、the improper use of bra% family history of cancer may causing breast cancer, degree of attention to health, whether for regular diet, whether take the initiative to control diet, whether eating more fresh fruits and vegetables、less red meat、 less high fat/calorie foods and less smoked/picked products, whether strengthening physical exercise, whether controling weight, whether keeping life regularly, the differences are statistically significant (P<0.05). Further more, appling non-conditional Logistic regression analysis, results show:the patients who know family history of malignant tumor may leading to breast cancer than those who do not, pay more attention to changing health behavior;the patients who take the initiative to control diet after diagnosed with breast cancer than those don’t, are more likely to change health behavior;the patients who strengthen physical exercise after diagnosed with breast cancer take more attention to health behavior change than those who don’t.2. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire of breast cancer patients’health behavior① Reliability:internal consistency reliability internal consistency reliability results of the questionnaire total entries.Cronbach’α= 0.67(after atandardizing is 0.70), and after tested, F=235.12, P=0.0001 (P<0.01), the difference is statistically significant. So, reliability of the questionnaire is passable.② alidity:using principal component factor analysis method to analyze the questionnaire, result shows:KMO=0.67, Bartlett sphericity test show statistically significant difference. This means the data meet factor analysis. Gradually extract 9 factors, which cumulative contributation rate gain 71.8%. So, validity of the questionnaire is fine, and the questionnaire conform to the theory framework except some entries. Optimizing the questionnaire in the future is needed.Conclusion1. Breast cancer patients pay high attention to their health, and know some information about breast cancer. Over 96% patients paln to learn more knowledge about breast cancer. Majority of patients have highly health conscious, who can follow doctors’advice, take medication as doctors told and have physical examination regularly. In the 308 breast cancer patients, health behavior changers are 296 cases (96.1%); some bad habits which are uncorrected yet will be removed. Non-conditional Logistic regression analysis shows, the factors influencing patients’health behavior change can be summarized as follows:whether know family history of malignant tumor may leading to breast cancer;whether take the initiative to control diet after diagnosed with breast cancer;whether strengthen physical exercise after diagnosed with breast .cancer.2. The questionnaire of breast cancer patients’health behavior has passable reliability and fine validity, and has certain value in clinical study. But, the questionnaire still should be optimized, in order to improve the reliability and validity, and promote its popularization value.
