ObjectiveBy using prospective clinical observation methods, this study is to make a comprehensive evaluation for the efficiency of using six-meridian syndrome differentiation in treating mild-to-moderate pneumonia and to provide scientific basis for clinical application.MethodsBy using prospective clinical observation methods, this subject is performed on 100 cases of patients with mild^-to-moderate pneumonia. The symptom scores and the effect were used as the evaluation index and the scores were made in the time before and after the treatment.30 days later, we followed up the patients, that if they had went to the hospital for pneumonia. The number of who had went to the hospital had been written down. Then, the statistical data was set up and the efficacy was analyzed with PASW Statistics 18.0.Results100 patients with mild-to-moderate pneumonia, who were treated by using six-meridian syndrome differentiation, all meet the discharge standard. They were all treated by the pure traditional Chinese medicine, no one was treated by combined use of antibiotics. According to the outcome of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes standard, a total of 65 cases of patients with had marked effect,34 cases effective,1 had no effect, the total effective rate was 99%.Contrast the TCM symptoms before and after treatment, the results suggest besides shortness of breath and chest pain, these two symptoms there was no statistically significant difference before and after treatment, the rest of the symptoms before and after treatment comparison differences were statistically significant.Compare the main TCM symptom scores before and after treatment, and the results suggest that the differences have statistical significance.Compare the observation index score of each measurement point, the results suggest that the comparation of body temperature admission between discharge, and the hospital 1 week between discharge.comparative differences are statistically significant. And the temperature at discharge significantly reduce compared admission and 1 week later. The comparative differences of the score of secretions at discharge, with on admission and at the hospital 1 week later, are statistically significant. The score of Chest radiograph at discharge is lower than it was in hospital, and the difference was statistically significant.ConclusionUsing six-meridian syndrome differentiation to treat mild-to-moderate pneumonia, the clinical curative effect is exact and stable, is worth clinical promotion.
