Objective: Under the guidance of the theory of the traditional chinese medicine, combined with modern means of diagnosis, based on the clinical symptoms of patients before and after treatment and related auxiliary inspection data, to observe the clinical effects of decreasing ovarian reservation in the Artificial cycle therapy of integrated traditional chinese and western medicine, and compared with the control group which only used western artificial cycle therapy, and preliminary discusse of the possible mechanism, to provide a new idea or method for the treatment of decreasing ovarian reservation.Method: 60 cases who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups with 1:1 proportion randomly. ①The control group:30 cases were only treated with Climen. ②The treatment group: 30 cases were treated with TCM and the hormone replacement therapy. After three menstrual cycles of treatment, we can evaluate the curative effect comprehensively through grading menstruation and TCM syndrome, testing the levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), luteinizing hormone(LH), estradiol(E2) and monitoring ovarian volume with color doppler ultrasonography.Results:(1)Menstruation efficacy: After 3 menstrual cycles of treatment, both groups have a significant improvement in the aspect of menstruation.Among them, the total effectiveness was 96.67% in the treatment group, and 66.67% in the control group. Comparing the efficacy of menstruationin in the two groups, there was a statisticallysignificant difference(P<0.05), and the treatment group exceeded the control group.(2)In the curative effect of TCM syndrome: After 3 menstrual cycles of therapy, according to the statistics of TCM syndrome results, in the treatment group, the total effectiveness is 93.33%, and 60% in the control group. Comparison of the two groups, by X2 test, P<0.01, the difference is significant.Especially in the four aspects of improving dark complexion, relieving mitigation Yaoxisuanruan, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia and hot flashes, the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05), but in lassitude, irritability and vaginal dryness, the two groups had a considerable effect(P>0.05).(3)The clinical efficacy: The treatment group of 30 patients, the total efficiency was 96.67%.the control group of 30 patients, the total efficiency was 70%. Compared the total effects of the two groups, the difference was distinct, the treatment group exceeded the control group significantly(P<0.01).(4)Hormone level: After 3 menstrual cycles of therapy,FSH、LH、FSH/LH level dropped and E2 increased than brefore, and the difference was statistically significant than befofe(P<0.05). Comparing the two groups at the level of FSH、LH and E2, there was a remarkable difference, and the treatment group exceeded the control group(P<0.01), while at the level of FSH/LH,there was no remarkable difference(P>0.05).(5)Ovarian volume: After 3 menstrual cycles of therapy, both groups after treatment compared with before treatment, there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Compared the two groups after treatment, there was no remarkable difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of treating decreasing ovarian reservation with the treatment of TCM and hormone replacement therapy was better than the control group with western medicine artificial cycle. And the curative effect was reliable, which could improve of menstruation situation obviously, relieve clinical symptoms of TCM, decreas hormone levels of FSH and LH, and increase E2, which had certain effect in the ovarian function recovery and improvement, and was an effectivetreatment on decreasing ovarian reservation, preventing or delaying premature ovarian failure.
