objective:To detect the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-la and Endoglin in placenta and soluble Endoglin in serum of preeclampsia, explore the role of them in pathogenesis of preeclampsia.Method:35 patients with preeclampsia (preeclampsia group) and 40 healthy pregnant women (control group) were selected in the same period. The level of serum sEng was detected by enzyme linked Immunosorbent assay. The expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-la and endoglin in placenta were detected by immunohistochernistry.Result:The levels of serum sEng in mild preeclampsia group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05), and was significantly higher in severe preeclampsia group than that in mild preeclampsia group (P<0.05). The expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-la and Endoglin protein in placenta of mild preeclampsia group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05), and was significantly higher in severe preeclampsia group than those in mild preeclampsia group(P<0.05). Positively correlation among HIF-1a、Endoglin and sEng were found in study groups (r=0.936,0.928), respectively.Conclusion:the high expression of HIF-la、Endoglin and sEng with in preeclampsia group, indicate they may common participant in the Pathophysiologic process of preeclampsia.
