Objective:To explore the theoretical basis for acupuncture therapy to control the disease from the perspective of literature, summed up the focus of acupuncture treatment of disease by advantages of disease, acupuncture treatment means, analyzes its impact for the later generations, to provide theoretical guidance and basis for clinical acupuncture and moxibustion literature current prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.Methods:by means of the school library and network database, search the Ming and Qing Dynasties literature of acupuncture and moxibustion in prevention of blight content more works, treatment methods of statistics and analysis of epidemic diseases of acupuncture and moxibustion, the Ming and Qing Dynasties literature on acupuncture and moxibustion prevention disease epidemic diseases, acupuncture treatment methods used.Results: in the literature of Ming and Qing Dynasties epidemics major diseases of acupuncture therapy with measles, cholera, plague, tuberculosis therapy, laryngitis, using acupuncture and moxibustion methods are the acupuncture bloodletting method, the normal acupuncture, moxibustion, scraping, sticking method. For different diseases for each of the acupuncture therapy, such as scraping and acupuncture bloodletting treatment of sunstroke, moxibustion for treatment of consumptive, acupuncture bloodletting treat plague and tumefaction, obvious curative effect.Conclusion: acupuncture therapy of epidemic disease prevention and control is simple Xiaojie, facilitate clinical first aid; safe non-toxic side effects,no drug resistence; has the advantages of simple operation, convenient generalization of learning.
