The Literature Study On Formula And Drugs For The Diagnosisand Treatment Of The Pestilence In Ming And Qing Dynasty

The literature and history research of TCM about the pestilence, acute and epidemic infection had got to be a new compass with the form of Pestilence School in Ming and Qing Dynasty and created a integral system of diagnosis and treatment. Its theory had become more perfect and treatment had become more abundant.Firstly, some important literatures about the pestilence in Ming and Qing Dynasty were systematized with the method of combining literature research.It summaried systematically the evolution of the pestilence's name, cause and pathogeny, regular rule of spread and change, diagnosis and treatment, formula and herbs through literature research, and so on. At the same time, it expatiated on the relation between pestilence and exogenous febrile diseases or seasonal febrile diseases.Then, it studied prescription that could treat the pestilence by applying to statistics. The data base of the formula and drugs for the pestilence were established. The thesis analyzed the charaters of treatment condition and discussed the whole diagnosis and treatment law on pestilence of TCM. According to the result of literature research and statistics anaysis, it presented the basic method that for the pestilence was eliminate pathogenic factors and replenish vital essence to strengthening the body resistance.
