Comparative Study Of Uigur And Han Nationality Patients With Atrial Fibrillation On The Concentration Of Blood Biochemical Indexes

Objective:To investigate the differences in the concentrations of blood homocysteine (Hey), high sensitivity C reactive protein (hsCRP), d-dimer (D-D), N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) between Uigur and Han nationality patients with atrial fibrillation. Methods:We conducted a retrospective analysis on184patients with atrial fibrillation who were admitted in the heart center of the First Hospital affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University from October2011to October2013(atrial fibrillation group), among which92cases were Uigur and Han nationality each.Another180patients without atrial fibrillation were included (control group), among which90cases were Uigur and Han nationality each.The concentrations of blood Hey, hsCRP, D-D and NT-proBNP were assayed, by the use of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, immune scattering turbidimetry, send lubricious substrate method and double antibody sandwich immunoassay respectively. Then statistics and analysis of the concentrations of blood Hey, hsCRP, D-D and NT-proBNP were carried out between atrial fibrillation group and control group, diffenent nationalities of the same atrial fibrillation type and diffenent atrial fibrillation types of the same nationality. Results:(1) The constitution ratio of the gender, age, the number of smoking cases, combined with coronary heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes did not show statistical significance between Uigur and Han nationalities of the same atrial fibrillation type, diffenent atrial fibrillation types of the same nationality, atrial fibrillation group and control group (P>0.05).(2) The concentrations of blood Hey, hsCRP, D-D and NT-proBNP of Uigur nationality in atrial fibrillation group(19.78±2.82μmol/L,12.71±2.89mg/L,642.26μ118.45μg/L,306.42±76.12pg/mL) were significantly higher than those of Uigur nationality in control group(15.23±2.36μmol/L,6.17±2.58 mg/L,306.53±99.69μg/L,165.13±67.28pg/mL, P<0.05); The concentrations of blood Hcy,hsCRP,D-D and NT-proBNP of Han nationality in atrial fibrillation group (18.78±2.52μmol/L,10.34±2.52mg/L,582.36±89.30μg/L,266.83±59.21pg/mL) were significantly higher than those of Han nationality in control group (13.18±2.16μmol/L,4.27±2.18mg/L,246.13±59.19μg/L,125.43±48.18pg/mL, P<0.05).(3) The concentrations of blood Hcy, hsCRP, D-D and NT-proBNP of both Uigur and Han nationality patients with permanent and persistent atrial fibrillation were significantly higher than those of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group (P<0.05). And the concentrations of blood D-D and NT-proBNP of permanent atrial fibrillation group were significantly higher than those of persistent atrial fibrillation group (P<0.05).(4) Among the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients, only the concentration of NT-proBNP of Wei nationality (207.24±92.45pg/mL) was significantly higher than that of Han nationality (157.34±82.25pg/mL, P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the concentrations of Hey, hsCRP and D-D when compared with Han nationality (P>0.05).(5) Among the persistent atrial fibrillation patients, the concentrations of Hey, D-D and NT-proBNP of Uigur nationality were significantly higher than those of Han nationality (P<0.05), whereas there was no statistical difference in the concentration of hsCRP between the two groups (P>0.05).(6) Among the permanent atrial fibrillation patients, the concentrations of Hey, hsCRP, D-D and NT-proBNP of Uigur nationality (25.17±5.92μmol/L,15.12±5.84mg/L,757.38±189.73μg/L,478.43±137.82pg/mL), respectively were significantly higher than those of Han nationality.(22.17±4.42μmol/L,12.12±4.84mg/L,660.32±181.62μg/L,413.45±117.82pg/mL,respectively,P<0.05). Conclusion:(1) The concentrations of blood Hey, hsCRP, D-D and NT-proBNP of patients with atrial fibrillation are significantly higher than those of patients without atrial fibrillation.(2) The concentrations of blood Hey, hsCRP, D-D and NT-proBNP of the same nationality patients with diffenent atrial fibrillation types are different.And the concentrations of D-D and NT-proBNP of permanent atrial fibrillation patients were significantly higher than those of persistent and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients.(3) Among the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients, the concentration of NT-proBNP of Uigur nationality was higher than that of Han nationality; among the persistent atrial fibrillation patients, the concentrations of Hey, D-D and NT-proBNP of Wei nationality were higher than those of Han nationality; among the permanent atrial fibrillation patients, the concentrations of Hey, hsCRP, D-Dand NT-proBNP of Uigur nationality were higher than those of Han nationality.
