The Clinical Observation Of "Acupuncture And Western Medicine" Combined Treatment On Type2Diabetes With Spleen Phlegm And Blood Type Uygur

Objective:To observe the curative effect of acupuncture combined with medicine for treatment of Uygur patients with spleen phlegm and blood type and type2diabetes mellitus.Methods:1. In this study,60cases of Uygur patients with obesity and type2diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into two groups, including acupuncture combined with medicine group and the simple medicine group, n=30. Acupuncture combined with medicine group was given acupuncture treatment. The treatment was carried out once every day.Two weeks were as a course of treatment, with the interval of three days for a total of12weeks. The treatment was combined with pressing ear points associated. Amild pain was appropriate. Two ears were alternately treated once every three days.Meanwhile, they were given oral administration of metformin hydrochloride (Glucophage), a kind of hypoglycemic agent(Once500mg, three times a day). The simple medicine group was given oral administration of metformin hydrochlorides. Two groups were both combined with exercise therapy, nutritional diet, living recuperation and psychological modulation.2.Monitoring indexes:The main clinical outcome measures included obesity, blood lipids and blood sugar.3.After12weeks treatment groups were observed and analyzed statistically.Results:After treatment, acupuncture combined group of syndromes total effective rate was76.66%, simple drug group syndromes total effective rate was56.67%, waiting for the efficacy of acupuncture combined with TCM group was significantly better than the medication group.The obesity-related indexes after treatment was significantly different from those before treatment (P<0.05), suggesting the advantages of the acupuncture combined with medicine group in reducing body weight, waist circumference. For blood sugar, the levels of fasting blood sugar,2h postprandial blood sugar after treatment were significantly different from thosebefore treatment in acupuncture combined with medicine group and simple medicine group (P<0.05). Blood lipidparameters after treatment were improved compared with those before treatment in acupuncture combined with medicine group and simple medicine group; the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The results showed that acupuncture combined with medicine could lose weight and lower blood sugar simultaneously, and improve the clinical effects of lipid metabolism disorders to some extent in Uygur patients with obesity and type2diabetes mellitus.Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with medicine cannot only effectively control blood sugar, but also lose weight, reduce waist and improve lipid metabolism disorders in Uygur patients with obese type2diabetes mellitus. It has a definite effect, and its main advantage is reflected in relatively safe and effective, without significant toxic or side effects.
