Clinical Observation Of Treatment Of Ziyin Mixture In Functional Constipation Of Yin Deficiency And Intestinal Dryness Syndrome Type

Objective:Functional constipation is a common disease in anorectal. Through the use of Ziyin Mixture by oral to observe the treatment of Yin deflcicency and intestinal dryness syndrome type functional constipation efficacy, thereby further assess the safety, efficacy and long-term effects of taking Ziyin Mixture orally, to provide a new method and scientific basis for clinical treatment of Yin deficicency and intestinal dryness syndrome type functional constipation.Method:30cases with functional constipation (Yin deficicency and intestinal dryness syndrome type) in adult patients are divided into two groups according to the principle of randomly. One is experimental group (Ziyin Mixture), the other is control group (lactulose oral solution). Each group contains15cases. Observed the number of defection per week and the clinical symptom scores within21days (once per week) to comprehensive evaluation of the clinical efficacy. The cured and markedly improved patients should be followed up1week and8week after drug withdrawal.Results:Ziyin Mixture group and lactulose oral solution group were analyzed in the table of constipation clinical symptom scores, each after and before the treatment, the symptoms of indicators including difficulty defecation, straining during bowel movements, defecating time, frequency, and total score were statistically significant (P<0.05). Ziyin Mixture group is better than lactulose oral solution group in terms of the indicators of stool-character change, and abdominal distention(P<0.05). Ziyin Mixture group and lactulose oral solution group were analyzed in the table of TCM constipation symptom scores, each after and before the treatment, the symptoms of indicators induing difficulty defecation for dry and hard stool, reduced stool frequency, straining during bowel movements, unsmooth defecation, total score of secondary symptoms①, total score of secondary symptoms②, and total score were statistically significant (P<0.05). Ziyin Mixture group also can improve the poor stool(P<0.01), and is better than lactulose oral solution group in terms of the indicators of difficulty defecation for dry and hard stool, abdominal distention, total score of secondary symptoms②, and total score (P<0.05). Moreover, comparing with lactulose oral solution group, Ziyin Mixture group improve earlier on the indicators of total score of secondary symptoms②, and poor stool(P<0.05). Ziyin Mixture group and lactulose oral solution group, each before and after treatment, the indicator of the number of defation per week was statistically significant(P<0.01). As to clinical efficacy, two groups have partially invalid cases, the clinical efficacy and recurrence rate of the two groups were not statistically significant(P<0.05). While as to TCM clinical efficacy, Ziyin Mixture group is better than lactulose oral solution group(P<0.05).Conclusion:through clinical observation of this subject research, it was definite superior effect that treatment of Yin deficicency and intestinal dryness syndrome type functional constipation by Ziyin Mixture. It could rival lactulose oral solution that Ziyin Mixture improved functional constipation symptoms, and it had better effects on TCM concomitant symptoms with functional constipation and TCM clinical comprehensive effect than lactulose oral solution. Moreover, Ziyin Mixture by oral has no obvious side effects, should be deserved to apply and spread in the clinic.
