Because of the pathogenesis of allergic cough is not very clear, and the eti ology is very complicated and controversial, so the western medicine for the trea tment of allergic cough is more focused on the patient’s symptoms, but it is har d to completely cured. In recent years, because of the environmental pollutions a nd other considerations, the incidence of this disease is increasing year by year, clinic patients who suffering from this disease are more and more. The majorit y of patients have the western medicine treatment, but the effect is not very goo d. The Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of this disease is not only focused on the patient’s symptoms, but also on the overall adjustment can reduce the re currence. Combined with years of clinical experience of my tutor, he gets satisfi ed curative effects in treating allergic cough based on Qufeng Huan’gan Decoctio n. In order to summarize my tutor’s experience of treating allergic cough, and e valuate the efficacy of Qufeng Huan’gan Decoction, we made a clinical research.This paper is composed of "theoretical discussion, clinical research, experien ce" three parts. The first part describes the western medicine’s understanding of t he disease and Traditional Chinese medicine’s understanding. And my teacher’s tr eatment of this disease is also discussed. In the clinical research part, the article validates the effects and advantages of Qufeng Huan’gan Decoction in treating al lergic cough through analysis of therapeutic effects and prescriptions on33case s. At the last part, the article analyses the effectiveness of Qufeng Huan’gan De coction and makes a summary of the experience of tutor in treating allergic cou gh.
