Objective: Based on randomized controlled clinical trials on rescuecervical inflammation related diseases, we compared the clinical efficacy, safety, economy and applicability between focused ultrasound therapy andradiofreguency therapy and then found that the latter be suitable forapplication and worthy of being generalized in rural areas. Methods:In order to compare the therapeutic effects in the12months,200cases of cervical inflammation related diseases, in accordancewith the random number table, were divided into focused ultrasound groupand radiofreguency therapy group and were followed2weeks,4weeks,3months,6months and12months.Results:1) Adverse reaction: both moderate vaginal drainage andpostoperative drainage duration16~20days in focused ultrasound groupwere significantly lower than that in radiofreguency group (all P<0.05). Inaddition, the number of cases of vaginal bleeding needing clinicalintervention in focused ultrasound group was significantly less than that in radiofreguency group, the same to the number of cases of acute infectionbleeding(all P <0.05).2)Efficient evaluation:the total effective rate ofcervical inflammation related diseases was98.89%in focused ultrasoundgroup and98.90%in radiofrequency therapy group (P>0.05). SF-36healthsurvey scale score: before treatment SF-36scores of eight dimensions, totalphysical health (TPH) and total mental health (TMH) had no significantdifference (all P>0.05),while there were significant differences in thedifferent scores of TPH, TMH and eight dimensions of SF-36between postand pre-therapy stage of SF-36, and the former showed significantly higherthan the latter in the different scores of vitality(VT),role emotional(RE),mental health(MH)and TMH (all P<0.05).3) Economic evaluation:the cost involved in preoperative treatment had no significant difference (allP>0.05),also examination and treatment cost of treating vaginal bleeding nodifference between the two ways (all P>0.05), but the difference of total costand drug cost was significant (all P<0.05). The average cost per patient were1144.74and1244.55yuan respectively in focused ultrasound group andradiofreguency group within six months of follow-up.Among them, drugcost, examination and the total cost were difference in two groups(P<0.01),and the other cost were no difference(P>0.05).The cost-effectiveness radio of the focused ultrasound group was11.8less than thatof radiofreguency group12.58.Sensitivity analysis were carried out to testthe result,in the condition that examination fee increases by10%and drug fee decreases by10%,which show that cost-effectiveness radio of theultrasound group was11.66still less than that of radiofreguency ablationgroup12.58.4)Applicability evaluation:there is no statistically different forsatisfaction appraisal in doctor and patient between the focused ultrasoundgroup and radiofreguency group. Conclusions:Focused ultrasound therapy has the same efficiency asradiofreguency therapy for cervical inflammation related diseases, whichcan improve the patient’s the quality of life after therapy and lower theoccurring rate of adverse reactions. So,we concluded that focused ultrasoundtherapy would be become a new promising therapy for cervicalinflammation related diseases, and worthy of being generalized in ruralareas.
