Objective: To investigate the current status on cervical inflammationrelated diseases among married women and the risk factors in Chongqingrural areas. Through the randomized controlled trials (RCT) with thepatients that have the cervical inflammation related disease to obverse thedisease condition after the focused ultrasound (CZF) treatment, electric irontreatment and health education, To evaluate the effectiveness, safety, economy and applicability of CZF treatment, and gets a new treatmentprotocol that is suitable for application in rural areas. Methods: Stratified typical sampling method was used for selectingsubjects based on economic level strata, and a survey of prevalence ofcervical inflammation related diseases in97093women was carried out in8counties.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze it’s riskfactors.600patients that have the cervical inflammation related diseaseswere divided into three groups randomized, in which300patients receivedCZF treatment,150patients received electric iron treatment,150patientsreceived health education. Results: The prevalence of cervical inflammation related diseases was39.13%. There were significant differences among women with differentoccupations, economies, abortion and cleanliness of vaginal discharge.Thehigh risk factors were the more abortion times, the less cleanliness of vaginaldischarge, and at20-40year group. The result of the RCT shows that theefficiency of the CZF and the electric iron were higher than healtheducation, were as high as99%, and the efficiency was not statisticallydifferent between the CZF and the electric iron (P<0.05), safety, healtheconomics and applicability evaluation results show that focused ultrasoundtreatment was better than electric iron (P <0.05).Conclusion: The prevalence rate of cervical inflammation relateddisease is39.13%in rural areas in Chongqing. Multiple regression analysisfor influencing factors showed that the more abortion times, the lesscleanliness of vaginal discharge and at20-40year group have highprevalence of cervical inflammation related disease. As a new therapy,Focused Ultrasound is a safe and effective treatment for cervicalinflammation related diseases. Compared with the traditional electric irontherapy, the CZF therapy has the same efficiency, higher security, economicand applicability advantages, especially suitable for the rural areas.
