Objective:To evaluate clinical efficacy of the hybrid technique incisional hernia repair (HTVHR) and open incisional hernia repair (OVHR). Methods:A retrospective analysis of49patients with abdominal wall incisional hernia from Fist Hospital Affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University initiated between in January2010and in June2013, including32cases in the opening group and17cases in the hybrid technique group. On two groups of operation time, postoperative hospitalization days, postoperative exhaust time, postoperative pain, postoperative complications were analyzed. Results:The results showed that the operation time, postoperative complications and post-operation time was no significant between two groups, however, the post-operation hospital stay and exhaust time was significant reduction in the HTVHR. No death and no recurrences was observed in the4-month to2-year postoperative follow ups. Conclusion:The hybrid technique is safe and effective in the huge incisional hernia repair. It has the advantage of operation simply and application easily, also it can quick intestinal peristalsis recovery and short post-operative hospitalization. |
