The Clinical Value Of Lung CT And Bronchoscopy In The Diagnosis Of Pulmonary Disease

Objective:To investigate-by a retrospective analysis on clinical manifestations, lung CT and bronchoscopy results which of694cases of patients with lung disease-that the diagnostic value of lung CT and bronchoscopy in some lung diseases such as inflammation,tuberculosis,lung cancer, bronchiectasis, bullae, bronchial/pulmonary hemorrhagic lesions, inflammatory pseudo tumor and interstitial lung disease.etc. Methods:Selected from the patients in694cases (among them405cases were male,289cases were female patients) of lung disease, whose lung CT examinations showed the presence of lesions, who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from August2010to November2012, who have completed electronic bronchoscopy tests and have pathological findings. The lung CT findings, bronchoscopy findings and pathological findings of patients were compared, then sensitivity and specificity of them being identified,χ2test of the matching design data were done respectively. Results:By comparative analysis of clinical data such as the lung CT findings and imaging features, bronchoscopy findings and pathological findings of patients, finally, pathological findings use as the gold standard, have been diagnosed to385cases of inflammatory lesions,54cases of tuberculosis,230cases of lung cancer,13cases of bronchiectasis,2cases of bullae,3cases of bronchial/pulmonary hemorrhagic lesions,1case of inflammatory pseudo-tumor and3cases of interstitial lung disease,etc. The total rate of diagnosis was99.57%(the number of cases were diagnosed/total number of cases×100%). For the eight kinds of diseases, the lung CT and bronchoscopy have different sensitivity and specificity. Except for three kinds of diseases, such as lung bullae, inflammatory pseudo tumor and interstitial lung disease, χ2test P values of other diseases are less than test level (α=0.05, P<0.05). Conclusion:Two kinds of inspecting methods have different clinical values in diagnosis of lung diseases. By properly combining them, we can minimize the missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis rate, and obtain good therapeutic effect in clinic.
