Objective:To understand situation and influencing factors of876urban and rural residents on knowledge of healthy lifestyle and on behavior of healthy in Nan County and Miluo County of Hunan province. To provide scientific basis for healthy education and promotion in future work.Methods:This is a prevalence survey. Without "National health lifestyle action",876urban and rural residents are randomly selected from Nan County and Miluo County, which are intermediate developed counties of Hunan province. To understand the situation of local people’s healthy knowledge and behavior, face-to-face interviews and questionnaires are used. Statistical methods are applied, such as Chi-square test using on data comparison and univariate analysis and logistic regression models using to assess the possible influencing factors.Results:Scores of healthy lifestyle knowledge are as follows. Knowledge of high awareness are recommended adult activity levels, harm of smoking and drinking; knowledge of poor awareness are the highest quantity of daily salt, and edible oil intake for healthy adult, body weight, waist circumference and normal blood pressure value. Score of learning all kinds of healthy lifestyle is between0.35~0.92. There are several criteria for moderate aerobic exercise, score is between0.23~0.87. On various hazards of obesity, score is between0.05~0.90. Influencing factors of hypertension in options are scored between0.19~0.90.Scores of healthy lifestyle behavior are as follows. Whether there are bad living habits, the score is between0.33-0.97. Usages of healthy support tools score low, they are0.41for using salt restriction spoon and saltcellar,0.36for using limited oiler,0.17for using BMI ruler and0.18for using waist circumference scale. Consciously controlling of salt oil intake and body weight score relatively low. Tobacco and alcoholic drink control score relatively high, respectively0.93and0.97. Whether consciously controlling body weight, the score is only0.23. The results of influencing factor analysis shows that occupation of agriculture and industry production, education of junior middle school and high school or technical school/College are risk factors of healthy lifestyle knowledge, the OR are4.507(1.789-11.3550),3.106(1.051-9.176),3.277(1.127-9.528). Town/city as family address were protective factors of healthy lifestyle knowledge, the OR is0.119(0.065-0.216). It also shows that male, education of high school degree/technical school/College are risk factors of healthy lifestyle behavior, the OR are2.145(1.411-3.262) and2.128(1.026-4.411). That family address is town/city, and that annual household income between10001-50000RMB or above50001RMB are protective factors for knowledge of a healthy lifestyle, the OR are0.102(0.06-0.174),0.516(0.292-0.914) and0.298(0.153-0.578); male, occupation of state organs, enterprises and institutions staff, town/city as family address, annual household income between10001-50000RMB are risk influencing factors of healthy lifestyle behavior, the OR are2.184(1.106-4.313),3.018(1.197-7.609),22.339(9.523-52.403) and2.827(1.097-7.284).Conclusion:Urban and rural residents in Nan County and Miluo County are poor on healthy lifestyle knowledge and behavior. They are targeted to healthy interventions. Building supporting environment and implementing "national health life style action" are recommended to execute as soon as possible.
