| ObjectiveAnalyze the prevalent characteristic of notifiable diseases of Zhengzhou city during the year2004to2012, in order to provide a scientific basis for prevention and control of infectious diseases for the government to develop strageies and measures.MethodsWe collect and arrange the infectious disease data that reported by medical institutions at all levels in Zhengzhou City during the year2004to2012from the Disease Surveillance Information Reporting System. Analyze the incidence in Zhengzhou City use the Descriptive Epidemiology.Results1. There was no category A infectious disease reported during the year2004to2012, B and C category infectious disease were reported30kinds, a total of462212cases, the average incidence rate was708.85per one hundred thousand, decease842cases, the average mortality was1.29per one hundred thousand, the case fatality rate was0.02%, the incidence rate was fluctuation during436.89per one hundred thousand to994.89per one hundred thousand, the lowest year was2004, than the incidence rate was increasing year by year, when it reached a peak in the year2009(994.89per one hundred thousand), the incidence rate began to decline, it was slightly elevated in the year2012. The mortality was fluctuation during0.59per one hundred thousand to1.95per one hundred thousand, the lowest year was2006, the highest year was2010. There has large differences of the reported incidence in different areas, between344.65per one hundred thousand to1149.48per one hundred thousand, the highest reported incidence area was erqi district,1149.48per one hundred thousand, the lowest reported incidence area was gongyi city,344.65per one hundred thousand. There were281596male cases, the incidence rate was843.77per one hundred thousand, and the female cases was180616, the incidence rate was569.05per one hundred thousand, the male to female ratio was1.56:1. The highest incidence was in the zero-year-old-group, which account for20.61%in the total incidence (95243/462212), the incidence in the fifteen to fifty-nine year-old-group account for51.18%(236538/462212), the incidence was gradual decline after35years. The occupations which was the five top incidence was farmer, scattered-children, student, worker, Housekeeping housework and unemployment, it account for69.72%.2. B category infectious disease were reported twenty kinds during the year2004to2012, a total of297861cases, it account for64.44%in the total number of notifiable infectious diseases, the average incidence rate was460.12per one hundred thousand, decease817cases, it account for97.03%in the total number death of notifiable infectious diseases, the average mortality was1.36per one hundred thousand, the average fatality rate was0.27%. It report intestinal diseases33606cases during2004to2012, account for11.28%in A and B category infectious disease, it ranks third; It report respiratory diseases56444cases, account for18.95%in A and B category infectious disease, it ranks second, both intestinal diseases and respiratory diseases have the declining trend; It report blood and sexually transmitted diseases207075cases, account for69.52%in A and B category infectious disease, it ranks fist, and has the rising trend.3. C category infectious disease were reported ten kinds during the year2004to2012, a total of164351cases, the average incidence rate was252.02per one hundred thousand, decease25cases, it account for2.97%in the total number death of notifiable infectious diseases, the average mortality was0.04per one hundred thousand. There were44107cases of hand-foot-mouth disease during2008to2012, it has two incidence peaks in the year2009and2012, the incidence rate was260.56per one hundred thousand and127.38per one hundred thousand respectively. There were614cases in February which was the lowest incidence month, it account for1.39%in the total cases, the highest incidence month in May, it reported10653cases, account for24.15%, it reported32474cases during the peak incidence month March to July, account for73.63%. The area which was the five highest incidence region was jinshui erqi zhongyuan guancheng zhongmou, it account for91.15%. There were27196male cases, and the female case was16911, the male to female ratio was1.61:1. There were40859cases in the five-year-old-group which was the highest incidence group, it account for92.64%, there was no case in the55or old age group; the main incidence occupation was scattered children, kindergarten children and student, which reported43999cases, it account for99.76%. It report4740cases of laboratory diagnosis during2008to2012, there was2478cases of EV71positive, account for52.28%,2478cases of CoxA16positive, account for17.59%,1428cases of PE positive, account for30.23%. It report1696cases of severe cases, account for3.85%in the total HFMD cases, the highest incidence ratio group was one-year-old-group, which reported736cases, account for43.40%, there were1387cases in under two years, account for81.78%, EV71positive account for83.23%, CoxA16positive account for1.01%, PE positive account for15.76%.ConclusionThere was an upward trend in the incidence of notifiable infectious diseases of zhengzhou city during2004to2009, it reach a peak in2009, then decline, and increased volatility during2010to2012. The number of cases of blood and sexually transmitted diseases, Respiratory diseases and Intestinal diseases take the first, second and third place in B category infectious disease. |
