Objective: Through6-month moderate intensity aerobic exercise interventionofQuancao combined with fast walking to patients with type2diabetesinTangzijing,Xuhui District, indexes including the body configuration, blood-glucoseand blood fat were utilized to evaluate the prophylaxis and treatment effect on type2diabetes. The present study provides reference for practical, feasible, safe and effectivescheme for the prevention and treatment of diabetes in community.Method:110patients of comparable age (mean=65) with type2diabetes wererecruited and divided into two groups. The experimental groupaccepted a6-monthintervention of Quancao combined with fast walking; the control group was notdesignated exercise tasks. Besides, neither group was given diet or drug restrictions.Pre-and post-experiment indexed including the body configuration, blood-glucose andblood-lipid were compared. Results:Compared with the control group, theexperimental group showed significantdecrease in body weight, BMI, hipline and waistline (P<0.05); the experimentalgroup also showed significant decrease infasting blood-glucose and glycosylatedhemoglobin (P<0.05) and cholesterol, triglyceride, low densitylipoprotein(P<0.01).High density lipoproteinin the experimental group turned out anincrease trend whereas in the control group a decrease trend. Besides, the controlgroup also showed decreased cholesterol and triglyceride and increased triglyceride;low density lipoprotein in the control group failed to show significant change.Theseresults indicated that the absence of exercise had been undermining the health andfitness of the control group. Conclusion:Exercise intervention contributes to the decrease of body weight, BMI,hipline, waistline and body fat rate inpatients with type2diabetes, thus lowers therisks of obesity or overweight.Exercise intervention also contributes to the decrease offasting blood-glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin, which indicates the effect ofaerobic exercise intervention onthe improvement of glycometabolism and reductionof blood-glucose; After the exercise intervention, TG、TC、LDL in the experimentalgroup showed significant decrease while HDL showed increase tend, which can beinterpreted in the way that moderate intensity aerobic exercise intervention helpimprove the lipid metabolism and lower the occurrence of complication.After6-month exercise intervention, the body configuration, blood-glucose and blood fat inthe experimental group show obvious improvement relative to their controlcounterparts. Therefore, aerobic exercise intervention can be generalized incommunity as practical, feasible, safe and effective scheme.
