Objective:To estimate the clinical effects and security of Gao’s Energy Acupuncture Therapy with finger therapy in treating nerve root cervical spondylosis by systematically arranged and normalized clinical studied, sequentially formed technical specifications, and offer a new idea and method to treat nerve root cervical spondylosis.Methods:60nerve root cervical spondylosis patients were divided into the treatment group and the control group of30cases by the random number table generated by SPSS. The treatment group patients used Gao’s Energy Acupuncture Therapy combine with finger therapy, while the control group used electroacupuncture combine with finger therapy. Both of two groups received each treatment everyday in the first three days, afterwards treatment every other day,7times as a course of treatment, and there was one day off between the2. Summarizing after the2courses. The2groups were evaluated randomly according to pain grading standards before and after treatment. Applying SPSS13.0statistical software to analyse the changes of intragroup and betweengroup.Results:1. After treatment the symptom score, MPQ and VAS of both treatment group and control group have obvious improvement than pre-treatment (P<0.05). In improving symptom and analgesia the treatment group have more significant improvement than the control group.2. The comparison of clinical effects between the two groups show that the treatment group has the curative10cases (33.33%), remarkable effect12cases (40.00%), improvement7cases (23.33%), ineffective1cases (3.33%), the total effective rate96.67%; while the control group has the curative8cases (26.67%), remarkable effect14cases (46.67%), improvement6cases (20.00%), ineffective2cases (6.67%), the total effective rate93.33%.Conclusion:1. Comparing with electroacupuncture combined finger therapy, the effect and time of Gao’s Energy Acupuncture Therapy with finger therapy were obviously better than the control group. That indicated Gao’s Energy Acupuncture Therapy with finger therapy could ameliorate the clinical symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy more effectively and faster.2. Providing cervical spondylosis with a new treatment and a new thought.
