ObjectiveTo observe both the safety and efficacy for taping and pressing auricular points with western drug Treating Phlegm-dampness type level1、2Elderly hypertension.MethodsCompling with Phlegm-dampness type level1、2Elderly hypertension70cases were randomly divided into the test group and the control group with35cases in each group. The test group was treated with acupoints taping and pressing auricular points:Buck creek, the spleen, the triple energizer, ear vests, the liver, the kidney and take original dose of western medicine. The control group was treated with taking original dose of western medicine treatment. Give two groups treatment for4weeks, and the TCM symptoms, tongue, pulse, blood lipid, blood glucose, uric acid and daily monitoring of blood pressure were observed before and after treatment, and security of observation in the course of treatment, and recorded occur, frequency of adverse reactions, and clinical management measures and their relationship with the experimental treatment evaluation etc.ResultsAfter the treatment, the efficacy of auricular pressure with medicine in the treatment group was significantly better than western medicine group (P <0.05), symptoms improved significantly (P<0.05), and corrects blood lipids, blood glucose, uric acid metabolism disorders (P<0.05), liver and kidney function before and after treatment, and three conventional no abnormal changes (P>0.05).ConelusionTaping and pressing auricular points:Buck creek, the spleen, the triple energizer, ear vests, the liver, the kidney has hypotensive, phlegm dampness effect. Auricular plaster therapy plus oral western medicine in the treatment of phlegm dampness type of mild and moderate primary hypertension is more obvious than the mere oral western medicine antihypertensive effect, and can significantly improve patients dizziness, headaches, such as wrap head and other symptoms, and no obvious adverse reaction.
