Acupuncture Combined With Western Medicine In Treatment Of Vascular Dementia Clinical Curative Effect Observation

Objective:By means of comparing the Clinical efficacy difference between acupuncture combined with western medicine and western medicine alone with mild to moderate vascular dementia, to explore the significance of acupuncture in the treatment of vascular dementia, and to validate its clinical efficacy, and provide the basis for clinical practice.Methods:48patients are in Wuhan City, Hubei Province Chinese Medicine Hospital encephalopathy inpatient and outpatient,24cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group (n=24). Two groups in the conventional Western medical treatment while the control group given another tablet nicergoline, treatment group on the basis of the control group in the Huoxuetongluo Yisuijiannao acupuncture therapy for addition, the acupoints:Baihui, sishencong, hegu, xuehai, xuanzhong, taichong. Observed the before and after integral change of four weeks after the treatment group and control groups in the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), activities of daily living (ADL). Calculate the index of its efficacy, and statistically analyze the data.Results:Compared the efficacy of cognitive function checked by the mini-mental state table score of two groups after the treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group after treatment was75%;, the total effective rate of control group was50%. After treatment, the total efficiency of the statistical p<0.05, significant difference. Effect of treatment group better than the control group. Comparing the two groups of patients in daily living skills, the treatment group after treatment, the total effective rate of79.17%; control group, the total effective rate was50%, p<0.05Statistically significant differences, the effect of treatment group better than the control group.Conclusion:Huoxuetongluo acupuncture therapy can improve the clinical efficacy of mild to moderate vascular dementia, and may improve cognitive function and daily living skills, thus improving patient quality of life. VD is a difficult clinical syndromes, the current lack of an ideal therapeutic agents and methods, the use of acupuncture combined with drug therapy is an effective and feasible method.
