ObjectiveThis study is aimed to objectively evaluate the clinincal efficacy of electroacupuncture and ginger moxibustion on treating sciatica.MethodsThe study involved60cases of sciatica who were divided into treatment group (Electroacupuncture and Ginger Moxibustion) and control group (Electroacupuncture). There were30cases in each group. Observed the degree of pain using visual analogue scale at before treatment and four course of treatment, then sum up the effect.ResultsAfter the end of the4courses of treating, of treatment group was93.3%, and the total efficiency of control group was80%.Compared with before treatment, VAS score in the two groups of patients after treatment significantly decreased.ConclusionThe results show that:electroacupuncture and ginger moxibustion is an effective methods for treating sciatica. |
