ObjectiveThe purpose of this research is to find a treatment in convalescent stage of peripheral facial paralysis, witch can further shorten the course of the disease and improve the efficacy and reduce the sequelae to achieve the hope of patients. Through the selection of eligible patients who were randomized to observe the clinical effect of Blood-letting&electro-acupuncture therapy.MethodsRandomly divided the standard patients of peripheral facial paralysis who were in convalescent stage into treatment group and control group, each of group were30cases. The control group was received routine treatment-electro-acupuncture therapy; the treatment group was given blood-letting&electro-acupuncture therapy. Scoring every patient on time--before treatment, after1course of treatment and after4courses of treatment--by H-B grade and Sunnybrook (Toronto) scoring scale. After the end of treatment, all scores were statistically analyzed by using spss19.0.Results1. After a course of treatment with blood-letting&electro-acupuncture therapy, treatment group mainly changed to level Ⅱ-Ⅲ of H-B grade, and compared with pre-therapy the Sunnybrook (Toronto) scores were improved significantly (P<0.01), while the level and scores of control group is not improved significantly (P>0.05), and the scores of two groups had significant difference (P<0.01), witch show that to curing patients who were in convalescent stage of peripheral facial paralysis, the blood-letting&electro-acupuncture therapy can bring obvious short-term effects, and the short-term effects can bring good psychological effect, witch can promote rehabilitation indirectly.2. After4course of different treatment, results:the treatment group had12cases were cured, and14cases had obvious effect, and4cases were effective; while the control group had4cases were cured,14cases had obvious effect,11cases were effective, and1case were ineffective. The effects were significantly different between the two groups, which indicating that the blood-letting&electro-acupuncture therapy can bring obvious long-term effects.3. From Sunnybrook scores both the treatment group and the control group had effect changes, and the scores of two groups had significant difference(P<0.01), which show that therapies of two groups can bring a certain effect, but the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group’Conelusion1. To curing patients who were in convalescent stage of peripheral facial paralysis both the treatment group and the control group had obvious effects.2. The overall efficacy of two therapies to curing patients who were in convalescent stage of peripheral facial paralysis the treatment group was better than the control group’.3. The short-term efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group, which can bring good psychological effect and promote rehabilitation indirectly.
