Objective: Preliminary exploration of application of the skilled helper model todevelop nursing interventions ability of higher vocational nursing students. Through the"Medical Nursing" course conducted by a college sophomore nursing students to carryout teaching activities. Using the core competence and problem solving ability, masteryof nursing skills as an indicator, analysis the skilled helper mode of teaching on nursingstudents ability To develop intervention effects and features. The skilled helper modelcan introduce the teaching mode vocational nursing care nursing curriculum, itsimplementation of multiple evaluation of teaching effectiveness. Investigating theskilled helper model can apply for the training mode degree nursing studentsintervention capability, experience and recommendations are summarized in medicalnursing teaching application for further study to gain experience.Method: Select a Vocational and Technical College of Jilin select2012three-year vocationnal nursing students161human subjects, Random clustersampling method will bedivided into experimental groupand the control group,control group susing traditional CBL teaching nursingstudents develop interventioncapacity, the experimental group take the caseteaching and helpingthose who canmodel effective combination model train capacity tointervene. Fill in teachinginterpersonal reactions after the end of the pointer(IRI-C) questionnaire,nursingstudents clinical communication skills assessment scale. Critical thinking abilityscale, the effect of teaching evaluation form,classroom behavior records,classroomt eaching quality evaluation form. Using SPSS17.0statistical package for dataprocessing.Result:1.The experimental group and the control group of nursing students’ genderage, students,the only child and whether it is usually more scores,the differencewas not statistically significant (P>0.05).2. In teaching course content,teaching method sand teaching process and theability to develop nursing interventions related(P<0.05)。Conclusion:1.Application of the skilled helper model teaching mode intervention capacitof vocationalnursing students to adapt to the state of the nursing professionof teaching reform anddevelopment requirements, to meet the national need forpractical nursing professional and technical personnel.2.The skilled helper model which care capacity to intervene in the teachingculture in favor of students with nursing intervention capacity.3.The skilled helper model can enhance vocational nursing students for professionalcourses in nursing interest and enthusiasm, so learn to turn will learnso studious turn tolearn.4.The skilled helper model support the mode of thinking and workingframework, so that nursing students have the core competency of nurses.5.The skilled helper model can change the teaching philosophy of theteachers’,who truly becomes double type of nursing educators.6.The study shows the skilled helper model by teaching vocationalnursing studentsdeserve the ability to intervene in vocational colleges application.
