ObjectiveThrough the survey of airline staffs,occupational stress and health to explorethe occupational stress effect trains and airline staffs,physical and psychologicalhealth and quality of work, proposing comprehensive measures on reducingoccupational stress and preventing physical and mental disorders, to provide thebasis on safety management of trains and airline staffs,in order to protect thephysical and psychological health of trains and airline staffs,and ensure safety ofthe railway.MethodsCross-sectional analysis was adopted and combination of self-reported methodand investigators asked method was resorted to implement field investigation onstudy objects. After trained investigators explained the research purpose, significanceand methods of filling and standard at the scene, the respondents filled in unifiedquestionnaires by themselves, then investigators checked back and withdraw.questions were included in the questionnaires such as occupational stress factors,personality characteristics, stress mitigating factors, emotions, tense ending,non-work activities, personal characteristic information, occupational informationand health information.Result1.Score of railway locomotive crews with different age, length of service timewas statistically significant(P<0.05)at railway machines pay reward imbalance ERI,return,self-esteem and job satisfaction; Score of railway locomotive crews withdifferent marital status was statistically significant(P<0.05)at the disbursement,return,ERI,control strategies, support strategies to cope with the policy and jobsatisfaction score group; Different income levels railway locomotive crews’ scorewas statistically significant(P<0.05)at sleep disorders,disbursement,rewards,negativeemotions,strategies to cope with the daily tension,job satisfaction and ERI;Different education railway locomotive crews’ score was statistically significant(P<0.05) atdisbursement,colleagues support, control strategy,a strategy to tackle,and ERI.2.Occupational stress-related factors were associated with sleep disorders; Sleepdisorder’s score in different age groups, marital status, smoking, alcoholconsumption was not statistically significant, in spouses of laid-off group, sleepdisorders was significantly higher than group work and retirement, and thedifference was statistically significant (F=9.66, P<0.001), multivariate logisticanalysis showed that disbursement, ERI, psychological needs, the daily tension,depression is a dangerous sleep disorder factors, and physical exercise, in return, jobsatisfaction is a protective factor for sleep disorders.Conclusions1. The crowd widespread occupation stress and sleep disorders.2. The different psychological needs levels, ERI, support strategies to cope withstrategies to control sleep disorders ratings were statistically significant differentbetween the strategies, tensions between different levels of response rates wasstatistically significant sleep disorder.3. ERI, disbursement, psychological needs, the daily tension, depression is arisk factor for sleep disorders, and physical exercise, in return, self-esteem, jobsatisfaction is a protective factor for sleep disorders.
