Weigh animals Weekly, adjust the amount of gastric lavage.After treatment for1months, anesthetized animal with chloral hydrate,draw the blood fromthe abdominal aorta, get biochemical indexes include TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C, and liver,weighing. The effect of Bushenjiangzhuo Decoction on biochemical indexes, weight, liverlever index.Get abdominal aorta1cm fix with40%formaldehyde, ethanol dehydration,waxdip,embedding, dye, mounting, Do the pathological histology observation.Result: first stage,the level of TC、TG、LDL-C about the rats fed with high fat diet for twomonthe are elevated significantly(P＜0.05), and the level of HDL-C decline markedlycompared with the blank group(P＜0.05). The second stage, the level of TC、TG about therats in the positive drug group fed with Bushenjiangzhuo Decoction for one monthe declinesignificantly(P＜0.05), and the level of HDL-C elevated compared with the model group(P＜0.05). decline of The level of LDL-C is unconspicuous compared with the other group except the blank group(P>0.05).The liver in the blank group is bright red, sharp margin, relatively elastic. The liver in themodel group is pale yellow,a litlle bigger, diolame is tension,and is more stiff. Improvementare made in the group fed with Bushenjiangzhuo Decoction,which is no difference with theblank group.Abdominal aorta in the blank group: endothelium is smooth.there is no fat deposition andatherosclerotic plaque. endothelium in the model group is incrassation, coarse, there are fatdeposition and atherosclerotic plaque. endothelium in groups of medium and big dose ofBushenjiangzhuo Decoction is smooth than that of model group, there is no fat depositionand atherosclerotic plaque as well.Conclusion: Principles of formulating prescription about the Bushenjiangzhuo Decoction isaccord with the theory of “Prescription Integrate with Drug”.Bushenjiangzhuo decoction hasthe kidney nourishing,smoothing the liver, invigorate the circulation of blood.Bushenjiangzhuo Decoction can cure the rat with dyslipidemia,improve the arteriosclerosis.can improve the impairment kidney and liver.
