The Study Of Lingnan Tcm Ancient Literature Of External Treatment Of Dermatology

Objective:The subject is about the study on Lingnan TCM ancient literature of the external treatment of dermatology before1949. We try to establish the database about the ancient external treatment of dermatology and reveal the principle of the ancient treatment of dermatology of Lingnan TCM with the scientific analysis.Methods:We collected the data of external treatment of dermatology on Lingnan TCM ancient literature from the domestic libararies, including the literature of Zhou Hou Bei Ji Fang, Yan Fang Xin Bian, Liang Fang Cuo Yao, Jing Yan Liang Fang, Yi Jian Dan Fang Ji, Lv Zhu Tang Ji Yan Fang, Yan Fang Bei Yong, Wai Ke Xue Jiang Yi, Er Ke Jing Yan Zuan Yao, Shi Yi Bian, etc. Then we established the initial database, summarized the various external treatments, focusing on the method of frequency statistics to study the characteristic herbal medication used of external treatment and the principle of prescription-formulating.Results:The data of external treatment of dermatology on Lingnan TCM ancient literature from the domestic libararies are collected in this subject, including the various external treatments of used herbal medicine, moxibustion, ironing method, fumigation, packet method, cutting, scraping, pricking bloodletting therapy after study and making a series of experiment. Especially we also found that many kinds of skin diseases could be treated with the external treatments. Finally, we have found the results as follows: the Angelica, Rhubarb, Pseudo-ginseng, Myrrh and other related materials are frequently used for the skin sore, carbuncle, furuncle turgescence and the herbals of clearing heat, relieving, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis are the mainly uses of these kind of diseases. The Borneol, Mother of pearl, Frankincense, Light powder and other related materials are frequently used for venereal disease and the herbals of clearing heat, inducing resuscitation, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis are the mainly uses of these kind of diseases. The wine, Licorice, Pepper, Realgar and other related materials are frequently used for acute posterior ganglionitis and the herbals of clearing heat, reducing phlegm, tonifying, dispelling cold are the mainly used for these kind of diseases. The Realgar, Borneol, Licorice, Angelica dahurica and other related materials are frequently used for skin scrofulous and the herbals of clearing heat, toxic insecticidal antipruritic purgating, tonifying are the mainly used for these kind of diseases. So the Rhubarb, Coptis, Scutellaria baicalensis and other related materials are frequently used for burn and the herbals of clearing heat, purgating promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis are the mainly used for these kind of diseases. The Alum, Tie Xifen, Sulfur and other related materials are frequently used for tinea and the herbals of toxic insecticidal antipruritic purgating, tonifying, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis are the mainly used for these kind of diseases.In Conclusion:In the subject we reveals the characteristics and composing principle of formula of external treatment of ancient Lingnan TCM and discusses the correlation between the high-frequency medication and multiple diseases. It was proved that the external treatment of ancient Lingnan TCM is usful and correct for the diseases of dermatology even with the methods of the modern pharmacology analysis. The treatments based on syndrome differentiation are the characteristics of Lingnan TCM ancient external treatment of dermatology.
