| ObjectiveThrough the clinical treatment and observation that treated with the herbal decoction of Xiyun Fang, to evaluation the clinical therapy function and mechanisms of Xiyun Fang on the clinical treatment of cervical vertigo, and guide the clinical use of the Xiyun Fang in the treatment of cervical vertigo, in order to improve the life quality of the patients.MethodsA total of100patients who was diagnosed with cervical vertigo were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups(50cases each) by using a random table of Doll’S clinical cases from2013Apr to2014Feb in the Spine Cord of ZhongShan Hospital of Chinese Medicine. Patients in the treatment group was treated with the herbal decoction of Xiyun Fang, and the control group was treated with Tianma Sutablets, the time of therapy is4weeks in all of the patients, and the patients in two groups were treated with the same physical therapy (the same programe and the same time). Many indexes were observed, including the clinical symptoms and signs of suffers, the blood stream change, ET, NO, TXB2, SOD, the flow dynamic changes of vertebral artery and arteria carotis were recorded detailedly before and after treatment. The collection data of two groups was analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics19.0.Results(1) The statistical analysis showed that the total effective efficiency in the treatment group was96%, and in the control group was84%, the treatment group was obviously better than the control group (P<0.05).(2) After4weeks, the PSV index and PI index of right carotid artery in treatment group had no significant changes (P>0.05), the PSV index of left carotid artery in control group also had no significant changes (P>0.05), there was significant difference of the other items in two groups (P<0.05) before and after treatment. This intergroup comparison showed that the RI index of arteria carotis in the treatment group was significant difference than that in the control group. The intergroup comparison showed that the other items have no difference between the two groups (P<0.05).(3) In two groups before and after treatment the index of vertebral artery were significantly changed (P<0.05) except the PI of left vertebral artery in treatment group and the PSV of left vertebral artery and PI of right vertebral artery in control group (P>0.05). This intergroup comparison showed that the PSV of right vertebral artery in treatment group had significant changes than the control group (P<0.01). in adition, the other items had no difference between the two groups (P<0.05).(4) Two groups of the serum concentration of ET, TXB2comparision before and after the treatment were decreased significantly (P<0.01), and the serum concentration of NO, SOD comparision before and after the treatment were increased significantly (P<0.01). Compared with the control group, the ET was lower (P<0.05), the NO was higher (P<0.05) and the SOD was higher (P<0.01) significantly in treatment group.What’s more, the intergroup comparison showed that the TXB2between the two groups had no difference (P<0.05).(5) Two groups of the serum concentration of blood rheology7indexies before and after the treatment were decreased significantly (P<0.01). Compared with the control group, the serum concentration of blood rheology7indexies was lower (P<0.05) significantly in treatment group.(6) Adverse reaction rate of treatment group was4%, obversly lower than that in control group (18%)., and examined the Pearson X2text (calibration), P=0.025, suggesting difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionThe treatment methods of both herbal decoction of Xiyun Fang and Tianma Su tablets have good effect on the patients with cervical vertigo, two treatment methods can obviously inhibit the overly release of ET, NO and TXB2caused by vertebrobasilar ischemia, and significantly improve the activity and content of SOD, the two treatment methods have the ability of anti free radicle injury, protect the blood vessels and nerves, improve the permeability of vessel, debase the blood viscosity and reduce vascular resistance, relax the artery blood vessel, ameliorate flow volume of vertebral and carotid, so improve cerebral blood supply of the patient. However, the statistical analysis shows that the cure rate and total effective rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The herbal decoction of Xiyun Fang is a effective medicine on cervical vertigo. |
