Objective: To summarize the latest research progress of cervical vertigo(CV)and compare the treatment effect of peony and papaya soup combined with neck manipulation with that of neck manipulation alone in the treatment of CV through clinical research. This study provides an evidence-based basis for the application of peony and papaya soup combined with neck manipulation in the treatment of CV.Methods: In differences in the basic data of the two groups, including age, gender and duration of disease, were not statistically significant P>0.05,and were comparable.2.Comparison of ESCV scores: intra-group comparison:the scores in the scale before and after treatment in the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved, and there was a statistically significant difference with P value < 0.01,indicating that both treatment regimens had better efficacy;inter-group comparison:(1)the scores in the scale before treatment in the treatment group and the control group were not significantly different from each other, and there was no statistically significant difference with P value < 0.01.There was no statistically significant difference between the treatment and control groups, and the P value was >0.05,which was comparable.(2)In the comparison between the two groups after treatment, the treatment group was significantly better than the control group, and there was a significant difference, with statistical significance P value <0.01.4.Comparison of some indexes of blood flow:Intra-group comparison: The observed indexes of blood flow in the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved before and after treatment.(1)There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment in terms of hemodynamic indexes, with no statistically significant P value > 0.05,which was comparable.(2)Before and after treatment, the whole blood viscosity including high, medium and low cut viscosity and plasma viscosity were different between the two groups, with statistically significant P value <0.05;it indicates that both treatment regimens improved the hemodynamics of the subjects, and the treatment group was better than the control group. Results: 1.The differences in the basic data of the two groups, including age, gender and duration of disease, were not statistically significant P>0.05,and were comparable.2.Comparison of ESCV scores: intra-group comparison:the scores in the scale before and after treatment in the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved, and there was a statistically significant difference with P value < 0.01,indicating that both treatment regimens had better efficacy;inter-group comparison:(1)the scores in the scale before treatment in the treatment group and the control group were not significantly different from each other, and there was no statistically significant difference with P value < 0.01.There was no statistically significant difference between the treatment and control groups, and the P value was >0.05,which was comparable.(2)In the comparison between the two groups after treatment, the treatment group was significantly better than the control group, and there was a significant difference, with statistical significance P value <0.01.4.Comparison of some indexes of blood flow:Intra-group comparison: The observed indexes of blood flow in the treatment group and the control group were significantly improved before and after treatment. Conclusion: 1.This study found that traditional neck manipulation was effective in relieving CV symptoms;2.Paeonia lactiflora and papaya soup was effective in improving the hemodynamics of CV patients;3.Comparing the clinical efficacy of the patients and the improvement in various aspects of the scale, the combination of Paeonia lactiflora and papaya soup with neck manipulation was feasible in the treatment of CV in clinical practice.
